  1. Pinball Club

ugh, the modes are difficult. I almost completed one. I like how there are three different skillshots. Also, I won the game:

I managed to shoot 1 dynamite stick today. I think you need to hit the sharpshooter while it's in the air.
  3. Pinball Club

Alright, my opening highscore. I've started the kaboom mode a couple of times. But I have no idea how to shoot the dynamite. And there are a few modes which I haven't figure out what to do with. No time to read the texts. I managed to get a 4 ball multiball, not fast enough to get the 5th in.
  4. Pinball Club

Let's go for the Wild West Rampage table.
  5. Pinball Club

The Wild West Rampage table (part of Iron & Steel Pack) is pretty fun to play. It doesn't look like there is a single mode select, you simply have to collect the letters through various lanes/ramps to start the mode. And there is also a 6 ball multiball (I think). The modes feel quite samey, as they all involve shooting various lane/ramps. I don't think I completed a single mode yet. This table doesn't have anything really special going on as far as I can tell. No additional playfields. And hardly any fancy animation stuff.
  6. Grim Dawn

    ditto
  7. Pinball Club

I've played a bit of Walking Dead and Guardians of the Galaxy. The guardians table is madness You start off with a 60 second multi ball. The Walking Dead one was ok. I also have spare keys for: - StarWars Balance of the Force Pack - Iron & Steel Pack - Civil War
  8. Pinball Club

I have to try the new bundle tables. But I guess the gratis Arabian Nights of Pinball Arcade is still a candidate.
  9. No Man's Sky

My LoC is quite high as I add luxuries like input validations, error handling, and logging (And when I feel like being a complete jerk I'm adding AbstractMethodFactorySingletons everywhere. Just kidding, I never do that.)
  10. No Man's Sky

For those who don't know, people are now using lines of code as a price/quality justification. As if hours to complete the main quest wasn't dumb enough. Source: https://twitter.com/HarryDenholm/status/703280589676408833
  11. Jake just wants it to be short so that's there more time for him on the air.
  12. No Man's Sky

yeah... I heard it's only 600.000 lines of code

Super Hot Well... I just completed the story. I'm not finished with it yet, going to do some challenges. I'm not sure if I think the game is long enough, or if it should be longer. The problem with games like this is that you could make it either tedious by adding more of the same, or really difficult and stuff create a wall which you cannot get over. So the 2 hours you need to complete the story might be good for everybody to finish. And the challenges which you unlock are for the added difficulty. I do think they could have introduced some new scenarios. For example, the could have explored the jumping a bit more. And the moving elements could have been used a bit more. But the game is fun, especially when you get through the main story and then try to perfect a level in your own vision. It really feels like you are the director of a fast paced action segment with some bad ass guy kicking everybody's butt. Just Cause 3 After 52 hours I'm done with the game. I did everything, unlocked it all. But I did not perfect the challenges to get to 100%. The game was exactly what I expected and hoped for. Having played a lot of JC1 and JC2 I did not get the feeling that JC3 was rather stale. Sure, it's more of the same. But that same stuff was what I enjoyed. A thing that I did find lacking in JC3 was a huge city. The largest city was still rather small. I really hope they are going to add a challenge editor to JC3 at some point. Sort of like in GTA5. There is really a lot of opportunity in the world for air/land/wingsuit races.
  14. The Witness by Jonathan Blow

Just finished it with 500/40. I don't think I'm going back to solve the other puzzles, including that horrible timed set of random puzzles. Solving puzzles became a chore at some time. More of the same stuff which I know how to solve, just have to figure out how to position it all. My favorite puzzles were the environment based puzzles, like the mazes in the castle. That one took me a while.
  15. Movie/TV recommendations

Just wait until anamorphic TVs become standard.
  16. wrong thread

They seem to be pretty generous with little caves and pits you can duck into to avoid the crazy death-grid kill-o-bots which come after you to clear the area I thought. Though I'm not done with the game I've rarely been killed after getting caught, though I agree that the stealth is a little cheezily done. Both Beyond Good and Evil and Armed and Dangerous desparately need sequels so the developers can really deliver polished genuine versions of their original concept. Both those games had so much going for them, but you felt like they only met you half way in the end.
  17. Pinball Club

... what's with the slippers? are they really there in game?
  18. Pinball Club

Decided to play one more game. I cannot believe how long I lasted with ball one. Also, scored 2 extra balls. I didn't do much special, hardly any missions. So bad news for you Clyde:
  19. Pinball Club

Slightly improved my highscore today Still not enough. It's simply not happening on this table today. I keep missing my shots. I captured my last session, check out my l33t skills at 18:00. That's worth bonus points right?

Just finished Firewatch and I liked it. I like exploring beautiful scenery with things going on. The game felt much longer than I actually played.
  21. Firewatch Spoiler Thread | Henry Two Hats

I consider the boombox a plot hole. I took the boombox from the lake and dragged it all the way back to the tower. In day two it was gone. But Ned was never able to get a hold onto it. Also: ghost confirmed
  22. Pinball Club

I'm not sure if it's a bug or not, but it looks like in some cases you can stack multipliers. In burning mode you can earn a lot of points when you keep hitting the left orbit, and when you do this after completing a task which gives you a bonus game you get even more points. Today I managed again to get 10M (I think) points with a single orbit shot. I'm not sure if it only counts when getting burning mode after completing coffin dodgers.
  23. Pinball Club

I have no idea what happened, but I was doing the mission with that mace guy and a flaming ball when suddenly made a shot through a lane and a shit load of 2M points showed on the screen and I went from a shitty game of 5M points to 35M in seconds... and lost my last ball because I wasn't paying attention to it anymore. I did improve my highscore, but wtf happened and how do I do this again: If only I kept my ball I might have beating Clyde's score.
  24. The games that made you buy the system

Uncharted and Ratchet and Clank made me buy a PS3, and probably also a PS4.
  25. Pinball Club

FFS. I had a really good Ball 1 run. Completed 3 missions, score of 16+M. Ball 2 was maybe 30 seconds max. Ball 3 I almost had mission 4 (the voting mission) but I lost my ball in the last hit. I didn't even beat my highscore. btw, have you listened to the things Moon Knight says? It's really idiotic. Things like "I wear white so they see me coming", or "Is my tie straight".
