Playstation Experience is live (Uncharted 4, other video games, maybe even the last guardian... Lol nope)
elmuerte replied to melmer's topic in Video Gaming
I only watched Uncharted 4 stuff. If they add 2 more games I'd like to play I will by a PS4. Uncharted 4 looked more like the same, which I enjoyed for 75%. One major difference I noticed with the short gameplay footage was a more open fighting zone and being able to continue without killing everybody. -

Finished Batman: Arkham Origins today I took a break for a long while and returned back to, apparently, do the last few fights. I'm glad that it did not have a long multi phase boss battle this time. Just like with Arkham City this game became rather tedious with the constant running around the city to just do another series of fights. I've done most of the side quests, only remaining were the riddler things which is simply too much, and the 20 fights you have to do after you completed the game. I just can't be bothered to do that.

Jesus... On the bright side, it can't get much worse. Also, being 30 years is great, because you can now yell at the kids to get off your lawn. (No lawn required)

Lesbians in Space! sorry, I had to made that horrible "joke") Anyway, the room design does give off a Bioshock vibe. I hope the game will be a little bit more gamey than gone home. So "hacking" computers and doors.

I'd rather watch Arnie's acting than Christian Bale's acting. Arnold's movies are still mostly the 80s action/comedy movies, which simply rock. This Terminator movie (nor T3) does not really belong to that category :/

In this order I think: Legend of Grimrock 2 An improvement of Legend of Grimrock's formula, which was also very good. If you ever enjoyed dungeon crawlers you must play this. The Vanishing of Ethan Carter Aside from the stupid miner segment this game was an awesome exploration experience. Simply a gorgeous world interesting story to unfold. Ether One Also mostly a walking simulator with puzzles. Again a beautiful (styled) world to explore. Honorable mention: One Finger Death Punch This game is really well designed, the gameplay is really precise and smooth. It might look like crap, but it great to play, especially because it's just a 2 button game.

http://yearoftheps3.info/ still going strong \o/ I registered it on 21st of januari 2009, good times. So that was after episode 15. https://www.idlethumbs.net/idlethumbs/episodes/ill-kill-the-last-alien (Skip to the 24 minute mark for the PS3 part) I think after new year it will simply count up. Maybe I should update it to do something special. PS http://www.tgdaily.com/games-and-entertainment-brief/66408-sony-affirms-ps3-support-until-2015 2015 will be the year of the PS3 death.

Legend of Grimrock 2 Just finished this. This game is so much better than the first one, and the first one was already great. I really enjoyed the fact that it's not just going deeper and deeper in a single dungeon. Being able to complete areas out of sequence was also nice, but doing so can make things really difficult and then really easy. I completed after , so that was rather easy. The puzzles are really good and often take quite some puzzling to solve. I played it on normal which was often quite challenging. The final boss was also much better than in LoG1. I hope that they are going to make a LoG3 which adds more story and NPCs, i.e. becoming more like Stonekeep.

Well, the physics are unrealistic in most tables. But what bugs me the most is the auto aim like things that go off quite a lot. Balls sticking to routes or even being partially redirected. In physical tables these tricks can be done via magnets, but in those cases it feels like magnets. In FX it feels just weird and distracting. Either way, unrealistic physics or not, it's still fun to play. And much cheaper than the very realistic Pinball Arcade tables.
-
I haven't played the new tables yet. But just because I didn't like the physics (the weird stuff going one once in a while), doesn't mean that they're not pinball tables I'd like to play.
