Saints Row The Third Just finished the main game (still have the DLC to complete). I picked this up during the steam sale. Simply put, I loved it. It's like GTA Vice City / San Andres, but much more ridiculous. All seriousness and realism has been thrown out of the window and they just focused on creating dumb fun. The best part of the game is the amount of variation in missions (including side missions). It doesn't really become tedious.

Idle Thumbs 65: Dance of the Treasure Goblin

That track is awesome. Somehow it reminds me of the "Fata Morgana" ride in the Dutch theme park "Efteling". Something like this: http://www.youtubemu...ght-morgana.php -

I haven't played Diablo 3, and don't intend to. But after the discussion of the music I simply had to sample it. And I fully agree with Remo. All emotion, mystery, whatever is lost in the music. Torchlight 2's music sounds absolutely awesome. Diablo 1+2's Tristram Music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obsFxm4fj7g Diablo 3's bastard child: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xm0_9U4CdsA -

just so you know. The MP3's album title meta data still says "Idle Thumbs Postcast" and not "Idle Thumbs" -

So Steam closed its doors? Or is there some awesome discount going on? I haven't been able to reach the storefront for almost an hour

This wouldn't fall in the category SFW -
Been playing it this whole weekend. It's like GTA Vice City and San Andreas. I think it's fun. Bought the DLC because it was also cheap. Note that those non-game DLC contains some cheating stuff, like a tank and a vtol. So it's a bit cheating by buying them.

I haven't had much issues with GFWL. Well, except that it's quite slow logging in, and sometimes it forgets me so I have to log in again. The most annoying part is that it logs in every time you start the game. It's a shame a lot of game don't use the offline saving functionality of GFWL (i.e. being able to play and save the game without being logged in).

And I was almost considering buying Ubisoft games again.

"You" as the player? or "you" as the in-game character? I don't think you will succeed in making the player feel bad about this actions. It's all virtual anyway. This can be achieved through the role the player is playing. Take for example Deus Ex: Human Revolution. You can play the game killing everybody, or you can play the game killing nobody, or some sort of middle ground where you only kill some people. I played the latter, I didn't kill any police, but I did kill the evil guys (and zombies). The way you play is not forced in anyway, and I think that is very important. Not killing anybody will give an achivement, but other than that it has hardly any influence on the game (only for certain key figures). I think the important thing to you if you want to introduce some kind of feeling for killing, is that you do not force people into a direction. I think the article also goed into that a bit. You are forced to torture somebody, and after that you can decide if you kill him or not. There was no option in not-torturing. I think it would have been better if you had the option to torture, and get the info but also introduce some negative side effects, like some friendly NPC won't help you anymore. If you didn't torture, then you didn't get the info making the next part more difficult, but the NPC will still help you. Or, simply don't give any option at all and torture the guy and kill him. No fake morality systems please.

I think PSN is better than the App Store. But Steam (and pretty much any other digital retailer for PC, like GOG.com, etc.) is much better than PSN. Don't know about XBLA. But they all suck for browsing the collection.

It's also unworkable for me, all my actions take seconds to become final. The ender farm also looks broken, very rare endermen spawns. -
ugh... posted that months ago... still haven't finished it.
