The only one in this bundle that I don't have and wan't is Hotline Miami, which seems to happen a lot with indie bundles lately, I can't remember the last time I bought one. :|

Quitter's Club: Don't be ashamed to quit the game.

Are you talking about fully grown plants on very fertile soil or the floating ones? But every room has a limit for soil, unless I missed something, so eventually I have to go to the gatherers, sure the gatherers can pick those seeds themselves but it's so slow and they bet eaten so frequently. -

I'm trying raise the biomass in a room by creating those gathering creatures, but the creatures that use tentacles to capture moisture eat them. I could kill them all and compensate with the compost they drop, but gathering seeds to make gatherers is already grindy enough. -

I quit Waking Mars, I think I can beat, but.... it's just not worth it, you just have to put in so much effort in keeping the ecosystem stable, I have to grind for seeds... just to have the new life I created killed by some other creature or a falling rock or fireball... Just find another room with the same problem, I love the story and characters, but I just can't take it anymore, each room is more time consuming that the last and less satisfying. *shrugs* -
Vampyre Story was OK-ish enough, but I hated their Voodoo whatever Monkey Island "inspired" game, did they make anything else? They don't inspire that much confidence in me.

Most heroes look the same when they change to their alter ego, but that reminds me... wasn't there some 80's-90's anime about a girl who transforms into man, it's really just a hologram ... That could be any show from that era, now that I think of it.

I'm getting pretty frustrated with the game, but I think I'm getting close to the end. I'm desperately trying to raise the biomass anyway I can, only to have another live form kill what I just created. I'm going back and forth through levels trying to get seeds I couldn't pick before and hoping new ones have appeared. I'm this close to quitting. :|

I just heard some terrible things about the iOS port, but I can't find it right now, something about it not having puzzles or something like that?

I beat the PC version of Resident Evil: Revelataions, it felt like a blend of the old and the new games, in some parts it's improve a lot, in others.... not so much... The story in an RE game is never the highlight, and this one's story is about as silly, I could tell from the beginning who the real bag guy was, and I'm terribly disappointed that the game tries so hard for us to care for these new characters that nobody wants to see again. RE games never really scared me, but this one was probably the first to make me feel tense? I didn't feel scared whenever I saw a duct a monster could crawl out of, but I did feel uneasy. But at the same time, I could tell when I'm about to get into trouble, because I just entered a room full of ammo. I don't know why, but the one thing they had to change was the ammo limit, as far as I can remember, the ammo limit was pretty high, but finding it was the real challenge. Here? It's almost like Dead Space, where you have to leave ammo behind because you can't carry anymore. All, in all, I hope future RE game will be more in this style, although it was twice as long as I would have preferred. The longer the game is, the more comfortable you feel playing, so the terror and tension dissipates. :|

In this case, I'll allow the lack of gameplay videos, it claymation after all.

This summer... more terrifying than Amnesia The Dark Descent, it comes for your wallet... it doesn't stand a chance.... STEAM SUMMER SALE!

I don't suppose arcade compilations count, right? Geez, talk about a hard choice, it was hard enough to think of the worst game ever that is actually really bad, but my favorite of all time? I'm going to have to say Day of the Tentacle, I have at least two copies of that game (I'm not sure if I still have the disquette version), I tend to play it at least once a year and thanks to SCUMMVM, I can play it almost anywhere I want! It's style still makes it stand out and look good today, it's still funny and it's still fun to play.

Waking Mars seems to be on sale on Steam too.

I just beat Dust: An Elysian Tale and... wow... the fact the this was done by one guy makes it even more amazing. This guy clearly loved games and knew how to throw in nods for the fans in a clever, non pandering way, like the "Mysterious Wall Chicken", it's a the best Metroidvania fan love letter out there that could directly compete with Super Metroid and Castlevania SOTN and still look good, that's how amazing of a game I think this is.

Don't these bundles usually get a few games added later? I'm only missing Hotline Miami, maybe what the add next will entice me to buy it. :|

By high number I mean a high Kickstarter goal, I am aware it's going to cost more, it just seems a lot for Kickstarter... that isn't from Tim Schafer. Hmm, Earthworm Jim was popular enough to get it's own cartoon, but it's hard to gauge it's popularity, do they have enough fans to reach their goal? How many fans did he lose with the bigoted comments he made? It's impossible to know, I guess if this Kickstarter succeeds we'll know. And such a strange voice cast ensemble, Scott Kurtz? I don't know if he has more fans or haters... Veronica Belmont? Did they just hire faces they'd hope people would recognize?
-
Well, the Kickstarter finally started and it looks good? But it seems like they are asking a bit much. Yes, I know it probably needs more, but I wonder if it even make half as much as they ask for.

I just saw this yesterday on Greenlight, the number of references to old cartoonist in the video is enough to give it a vote up! :3

Well, there was some frustrating parts, like the truck and the mission where you can let them shoot flares, specially since I somehow managed to sneak past a section and reach a checkpoint which made us be attacked by the enemies behind us every moment we restarted so I just had to kill the enemies in front quick and run away from the others. I'd hate to make a "double post", but I just beat BOTH Kane & Lynch games and... they were fun! In the first game I actually felt sympathy of Kane and thought Lynch was a crazy man and didn't understand why they stuck together until the end, it had some frustrating moments, but it was fun game, and it's ending is as "bad" as the sequel. Frankly, I don't know why people hate the sequel, I mean, it's like Hitman and takes a dump on the first game, but that's about it? Too short? It kinda felt long... I don't like that in this game you play as Lynch and he's the one saying Kane is the one messing everything up and I REALLY don't like that the game tries to make Lynch sympathetic, sure the story is a mess and the game play is less fun than the first game, but it's still pretty fun.

Yeah, the theme music does blend well from one area to another in Banjo Kazooie, but aren't all inspired on that "Teddy Bear's Picnic" song? Which probably makes it easier.
-
Is it me or do you have to actually grind before the final boss? I can't barely do any damage to it with any of my weapon... Way to reproduce a tabletop game, guys... I'm pretty sure you can't and don't have to grind in those. :|
-
I started playing and it's pretty great so far, but I must know something is there a limit to the monsters in each area? I did encounter enemies twice in the same place, so I'm not sure.
-
Hmm, it looks Ed Schofield abnd Mike Diets did indeed work on both The Neverhood and Earthworm Jim, so maybe Doug TenNapel will have nothing to do with the project after all? It also mentions Terry Scott Taylor which sounds promising, I guess they will try to make a "spiritual sequel" since they probably don't have the right to make The Neverhood 2? It does say in that post that it will be a point and click adventure.

What was the name of that metroidvania on which Oscar Scott Card worked on a little? It was pretty great, what I'm trying to say is that I doubt this case will be that different, he'll be an artist, the lead artist probably, but I really doubt he'll do anything that could harm the game. I raise you one !
