  2. Holy Crap, There's a New Homestar Runner Cartoon

Just in case nobody has heard about this: Disney has a series of shorts called "Two More Eggs" from the Chapman Brothers and they are pretty much Homestar shorts in style and feel.

  4. Her Story

Wow, Aisle is a game made for IF interpreters? I haven't played one in ages! I'll try it out one of these days too!
  5. Her Story

I don't think it's a spoiler to say that the clips I "missed" at the ending weren't really that important at all. The fact that you can search terms in any order might "ruin" things a bit. Can we discuss tags? At first I used it to add words I wanted to search for mentioned in the video, but in the end I just wrote them down on paper. How did you use the tags? Also, I noticed I was in the credits... I don't remember KSing the game, but I did preorder it?
  6. Steam Summer Sale Spendapalooza

I can still see my Summer Cards, I just can't buy or sell them, but it looks like I can trade them? They can't be gone because Steam says friends of mine own the Gold Helm card.
  7. General Video Game Deals Thread

I'm glad I came here, because I didn't know about the Paypal deal. Has anybody tried the Vita version of Monkey Ball? Will all these offers I'm kinda overwhelmed.
  8. Recently completed video games

I recently completed Finding Teddy 2, while the first game was just a simply point and click adventure, this one is a "metroidvania". The combat is taken from Zelda II and even some of the monster are pretty Zelda II-ish, but not as demanding or intense or balanced since you have NO invulnerability time after a hit you can be pinned down and die quickly if you're unlucky. The exploration part is pretty good, you're in a giant library where you must find four books to travel into with a main area and a temple (which doesn't have extra collectibles), at first you must collect notes of musical language to interact with the world and words from the language too. You WILL have to jot dot a lot of runes and by the game you might even be able to read the language without help. The only downside is that doing the extra stuff almost makes the game too easy, but doing the extra stuff was pretty challenging and satisfying.
  9. Steam Summer Sale Spendapalooza

Does anybody have a spare Summer Card Gold Helm? Steam is finally letting me trade.
  10. Steam Summer Sale Spendapalooza

Gold Helm. I guess I might be able to accept others cards, but maybe that's cut off too?
  11. Steam Summer Sale Spendapalooza

I can understand why it exists for a password change, but want on Earth does the app have that would warrant this?
  12. Steam Summer Sale Spendapalooza

Well, I just found out that you can't trade or use the Steam Marketplace for a few days if you change your password, I'm missing ONE card and I can't do anything with them. I can't even give them away. At least I managed to snagged the Season Pass for Life is Strange.
  13. Steam Summer Sale Spendapalooza

Well, I'm kinda glad Steam refunds exists, because one of the games I bought just wasn't running at all on my PC and another I bought, I just didn't like (I'm a wizard snob), which had a sequel I also bought. Damn, I already feel bad for asking for more than one refund in a row, but I guess in this Steampocalypse sale there will be more than one person in the same situation. *cough*impulse buy*cough* Also, the Life if Strange Steam page isn't working well and won't let you buy the episodes.
  14. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wsCO_h8qVpQ So... is anybody else excited about a LEGO Jurassic World game? It will likely cover all films and be very silly. And have LEGO Jeff Goldblum.
  15. Steam Summer Sale Spendapalooza

If I got any card from playing the game, I never noticed.... Although I only played the first day.

I liked Apotheon too, but I'm simply bummed out it's story was similar to GoW, then again, it's hard to have a Greek Mythology game where you don't kill at least one deity and I was bummed it was tagged as a vania and was not. I just beat Grow Home, it's 3D retro aesthetics and cute clunky robot starts the game out well since you have lots to explore and gems to collect. You can find a cave with unique vegetation where the gem glow gives it an eerie feel, but as you ascend, the vines you have to grow into islands for energy are further and further away and the checkpoints are also further away and suddenly the clunky robot isn't so cute when you have to be more careful and precise. Not to mention that the higher you go, the less there is to do and explore, right before the end is an asteroid field, with nothing much at all happening on it. Even with the jetpack and flower parachute, it gets very frustrating to climb, mostly because I was continuously puzzled by why my robot's grip failed or why it won't let me use the jetpack or simply because the robot bumbled over a cliff and I couldn't recover in time. There is a reason your robot can self destruct, because if you mess up in the higher places it's impossible to recover. I can't really say how I feel about the game I loved the first part, but hated the second?
  17. E3 2015

Twitter says there is a "PC E3 conference", what is that about and when is it?

I beat Apotheon, a Greek mythology based "fake-Vania", which I call it because I bought it thinking it was a "Vania" (it was in the tags), but ended up being nothing of that sort. All the upgrades from boss fights are nothing but actual upgrades, like faster shooting with the bow, and to find the chests of goodies all you need is lockpicks and Greek Fire bombs, one of which you can craft and one of which is dropped from crates and you're likely to have in surplus. Your weapons do degrade, but I never had to buy one from a weapon merchant and had weapons to spare, all I did need to buy was upgrades for my armor and recipes. Frankly, it was an OK game, that's got a neat " Greek vase" aesthetic and a story too similar to God of War, but it's simply not a "Vania". *shrugs*
  19. Can We Discuss the Possibility of Shenmue 3?

Frankly, I'd rather have more Yakuza games than Shenmue III. I remember that Shenmue was supposed to be several chapters, if Shenmue III is supposed to end the whole Saga, I'd be likely to look forward to it. How would Shenmue III even work? Now that we have search engines, digital maps and GPS in our pocket, how would the game be now? Wasn't Shenmue mostly about asking around for directions and information you could now find online? I suppose the game could be set in the era it was initially created in, but I don't see modern gamers having to ask directions and do all the mapping manually.

I'm glad Ore Monogatari is getting a second season, it's the most ridiculously adorable show ever. I finished watching Yurikuma Arashi, the lesbian bear show, and... wow, the drama part was pretty good, but I'm still not sure if the show took itself 100% serious or not, I know some part are meant to be funny, at least. I tried watching more Super Sonico and it just don't get it, is it just a "titillation" show? It's kinda too tame for that, the characters don't interest me in one bit, they seem too two dimensional to me.
  21. Jeff LEGOldblum a.k.a. LEGO Jurassic World

I've beaten all four movies and I do have one BIG complaint, the racing is the worst thing ever. Since in this game you can race with dinosaur and vehicles, one of the challenges is simply figuring out what to bloody use. In one race around Isla Nublar, I still can't figure how to do it, none of the vehicles can even reach the second checkpoint before the time runs out and it's almost a straight line and there is only one button, accelerate. Only a few dinos have a dash ability which somehow makes them faster than ALL the cars, but they still can't make it past the third checkpoint. The racing is a mess in general, the controls for the dinosaurs don't seem made for racing and the raptor races seem impossible and I'm baffled, did they not test it enough? Do they actually just expect us to "git gud" in a LEGO game? It can be that since the controls are too simple. I'm just... baffled? It's possible that the Traveler's Tales is so busy working on LEGO Worlds and LEGO Dimensions that this LEGO game lacked some polish, specifically in the racing? Frankly, the combat lacked some "flourish", but I guess it wasn't supposed to have a combat system that looked as good as the Marvel or DC ones? The game itself is still great and it had the most hilarious moments ever and... quite a few comedy duds. The racing is just a side dish gone bad that I'm trying hard to not make dislike the game in general.

I'll leave one final screenshot for now.... Guess who's playable in this game?
  23. Steam Summer Sale Spendapalooza

Valiant Hearts is 75% off too, but I remember a few people quitting it on the quitter's thread, is it really worth it? :^\
  24. Jeff LEGOldblum a.k.a. LEGO Jurassic World

It also has unlockable and customizible dinos:

LEGO Jeff Golblum is out! I've only played the tutorial level so far.
