See here for more crazy people thinking Crystal Skull was good. I'm surprised people are picking the raptor kitchen scene as an example of bad CG in JP. Can anyone highlight particular shots? As I remember it, it's mostly practical, and the few CG shots (like when the one raptor jumps up onto a surface, I think) blend in really well.

Getting it from fan edit sites is insanely difficult, but cough if one were to look for it on torrent sites, they would probably have some luck. (And of course they should make sure they own the movies first, for ethical reasons.)

The Icicle engine is not available for general use yet afaik, but perhaps if coughlinjon were to contact Cheeseness (whose engine it is and who posted in my thread for that game, "Baboo!") he'd be happy to let him have a go. I'm not sure it's a good fit for coughlinjon, though. I mean, it's not far removed from writing Twine games. He's already made two amazing WizJam games in 3D with visuals.. Besides, it sounds like he wants advice for this bit particularly: (Sorry if I'm misrepresenting you, though, cghlnjn)

Yes, definitely! You'd probably still enjoy it a bit, but watching along is the optimum mode. If it helps, he only got towards the end of season 4, so it's not like you'll have to slog through the ever-diminishing returns. (edited previous post with link)

I actually haven't listened to the last 20 minutes of the 'cast yet, which I guess is where the discussion of the new style occurs (I came to the thread early because I wanted to post about how Selina Kyle doesn't literally get brought back from the dead by the cats in Batman Returns), but assuming I've gathered accurately from this thread what the plan is, I'm all for it. Talk about whatever you like, some of that being video games sometimes. I will definitely continue to listen. (And as a Kickstarter backer, I appreciate you trying new things out to keep it fresh and sustainable.)

Something I like about AOTC as a title is that it's a total mislead so when Yoda shows up leading the clones to help the heroes in the final battle, it's an effective surprise.

I never understand people thinking Star Wars titles are cheesy/lame etc. Even Ewan McGregor ripped on the Attack Of The Clones title in the press. They're supposed to be cheesy! They're homaging the old Flash Gordon serials, as are the title rolls etc. As Roderick points out, they match the lame original titles perfectly!
