Oh yeah, the 3D was awwwwful. Absolutely pointless. I enjoyed the 3D in Avatar and Cloudy With Meatballs, but all the rest has just been pointless and under-used at best, what Rodi said at worst.

Yeah, I know. If you're going to do a double-bill, you do Alien/Aliens, right?

Green Hornet is good fun. Should be 15 mins shorter, Cameron Diaz is pointless and the villians are a little under-developed, but it has a lot of cool stuff going on and the 'Seth Rogen comedy meets superhero/superspy' thing gels really well. The King's Speech is really good - a lot more intimate than the 'Oscar buzz' led me to expect, and full of fantastic performances. I love Geoffrey Rush.

Aww! Thanks all! Dan has given away a lot of that "good stuff" in a brief RPS interview.

Yeah, I've always thought that. The Matrix borrowed a lot from The Crow as well.

Sweeeeet, thanKs Cigol! You'd better not be hacking my computer. -
Holy shit, tears are streaming down my face!

Would "parody" work better for you, TP? It wasn't just that angle that was feeling tired, though: simply doing another, smaller DnB adventure felt like we were going backwards, no matter how many things we improved or tweaked or polished. I don't think it would have been a bad game, it just would have felt a bit stale and pointless. I'm hoping we can channel some of it into the next Dan And Ben game, whatever and whenever that will be, because we had some good stuff in there. Hopefully, when that or the next Zombie Cow game comes out, you'll be relieved that we did something brillo and new, and not just another adventure.

Anyone have a copy of this they could upload? -
HEY syntheticgerbil, please list Gilliam's films in order of your preference!

I find ALWW incredibly frustrating. The interviews are always great - he finds some very interesting people and gets a lot out of them - but the presentation drives me up the wall. All the little edits and sound effects are painfully literal and repetitive (if someone says "over and over" you can guarantee he'll loop that soundbite for far too long, probably speeding it up towards the end; if someone talks about making money he'll loop a cash register sound for the next three minutes) or just pointless and random slowing down of words. Half of the bed tracks he plays this over are incredibly annoying (though the other half are really nice and match perfectly), and he puts on a really stupid hipster voice when he's presenting, that you can hear is different to his relaxed interview voice. I will listen to any new ones for the interviews, but if they came out more regularly I don't think I could stick with it...

Voted. We only need another 300 or so votes to get in the lead, come on everyone! Kroms: I listened to most of the 'casts about a year after they were recorded and had never heard of half of the games, but still found them all very entertaining and well worth listening to. Recommended!

Went to see it at the Prince Charles cinema (which we talked about earlier on this thread). Brillo on the big screen! We took some vodka and imported Tab to drink along with Frank Cross.

Yeah, I'm still waiting for Lost Season 6 from them after more than a couple of weeks.
-
Dan and I did when we went to watch it a week ago! No one else did, though, although everyone clapped along. I liked the Silent Hill movie, apart from the exec-forced Sean Bean bits.

Or did you sign up for that 'free first episode' deal that makes you wait until February to play?

Fox has been playing promos and doing interviews saying that this is deffo not the case (warning SPOILERS for all Fringe so far): SrwXij6HthY Hopefully this means they'll be too proud to turn around and say "hey look the ratings suddenly crashed, welcome to cancelledville".

Fringe!

I personally wouldn't define "full of oneself" as 'pretentious' or 'phony' either, fwiw.

That's really weird, especially considering his attitude on YouTube (I assume that's deffo him) and the fact that he did the BTTF cartoon and ride. It's not like this is a cheap cash-in, it's been endorsed to different extents by Gale, Lloyd and Fox.

I'm in North London, but Gosh is the place I go too. I had a couple of shitty experiences there and probably would have stopped going if I'd found a better alternative and Page 45 hadn't recommended them so much (and that hot goth didn't work there). Thankfully since then they've been lovely. It's round the corner from the British Comic Museum, you been there? I went when they had a massive Viz exhibition, it was pretty cool.

Which one's that?

Some people here should deffo not play Ben There, Dan That! or Time Gentlemen Please! then...
