Yep, it's there. Looks like their online booknig system is currently down, and it can sometimes take a while to get them on the phone, but it is probably a good idea to buy in advance, I can imagine this selling out.

I'm buying my ticket for this today, so all you bastards have to come now. It strikes me that more people will be willing to attend if there are drinks afterwards. So, I will also be in the pub from 8ish, venue tbc. People can come to both film and drinks, or one or the other (both is best, obv, especially as they serve booze at the cinema).

I think Brad Pitt is a good actor. He was great in Twelve Monkeys, Fight Club amongst others. Anyway, comics. I love Alan Moore, anything by him is well worth checking out (although he plays with the rules of the medium a lot, so he's perhaps not the best writer to start on). Evan Dorkin, Jhonen Vasquez, Chris Ware (especially "Jimmy Corrigan"), Frank Miller, "Maus", "Scott Pilgrim", "Y: The Last Man", "Bone".

You really should reconsider, they're both great. Page 45 in Nottingham had plentiful stocks of Surfin' The Highway when the game was released and I still have my well-thumbed copy that I bought immediately after playing the game and seeing the excerpts of the comics in the manual. -

It's Invaders Must Die by The Prodigy. Why wouldn't they use the same track as another trailer? It's irritating that they can say "FUCKING" but not show a man's wee or a lady's bottom. If you have to blur it out, don't put it in the trailer, pussies.

So, we're doing comics in this thread, right? I just read the Serenity/Firefly one that gives Book's backstory. A pretty slight one-shot, but the story would have been brilliant to watch unfold over ongoing Firefly seasons.
