Yeah, Wave was great for game dev - working on the DnB eps was so much easier without hundred-long email threads with quote towers.

The Gun Seller gets a little better then a little worse, but if you're not really enjoying the first chapter that much, your enjoyment levels are unlikely to radically change. You got hardback or paper, and what is the cover design? Subbes, I'll swap you your LoG v3 for Thunder's Lost Girls set.
-
Bah, fair enough. You can have a borrow of Rasl anyway if you like.
-
Now, Firefly on the other hand...
-
Does he explain how the fuck magnets work?
-
Large ones. Just beautiful, I stared at the covers for a long time before actually starting to read. The colour scheme, design, paper/finish choice, lovely.
-
I hear that some warning is needed re. the ending.
-
Swap you for Lost Girls? I'd say I'm definitely enjoying it as much as Bone, although it doesn't have that initial accessibility where he eases you into the story with cartoon antics.

Hooray, thanks SkullArm! Stick around, this is a cool community (apart from Toblix who is a bit complainy). (Also try out the sizefivegames.com forums)

X-Men: First Class - slick and enjoyable, with emotional heft, although the prequel nature of it plus lots of montages made it feel like an amazing tv episode rather than a standalone feature. (Are there any truly great prequels? Godfather Pt II doesn't count.) Kung Fu Panda 2/Hangover Pt 2 - exactly as enjoyable as their originals (fun and charming but slight action comedy/funny but stretched out and ruined by any spoilers, especially those all over the trailers). Pirates 4 - dreadful. Very dull retread of memories of the first three, but with all the nasty sadistic qualities of World's End intact (torture scenes, more character deaths, depressing character relationships). No fun at all, and the post-conversion 3D is, as usual, terrible - almost unnoticeable except for making the picture too dark - I ended up watching nearly all of it without my glasses on, and it could have passed for a 2D film with low depth of field. Bridesmaids - lots of funny moments, but strung together on an almost non-existent, predictable and cliched story. Also, lots of pointless stock wacky characters thrown in for a scene or two that you've seen a million times before and (not embedded to avoid mild Bridesmaids spoiler) from Harold And Kumar done again (probably unintentionally, though). [EDIT: and it takes a lot from the airplane coach/first Seinfeld episode] I think the positive critical response has been because people have wanted to like this more than they did, as did I. It's still pretty good and hits its stride for ten minutes at a time, but it could have done with a major script polish.

I just got the first two volumes of Rasl by Jeff Smith (Bone). Great to see him turning his talent to a contemporary, adult tale. I get the feeling I'll be waiting for ten years to get to the end of it, though...
-
Yeah, TGP is the sequel. We normally recommend playing both games, but doing it out of order has never been suggested before! Might be a fun experiment!

VGTRI2ja1ro Has this been posted? I'm not sure. If it has, here is what you do: Post the same video again, pretending that you didn't know that it has been posted before and advise people to post the same video again, pretending that you didn't know that it has been posted before. Multiple people should do this just to be sure.

Actually took me a couple of minutes to twig what you meant! Well, try out BTDT/the TGP demo for free direct from Size Five and see if you can get it working on Parallels or Crossover or whatever. A lot of people have had success with that...

Another worry might be that she's doing a George Lucas, repeatedly indulging in her successful universe to diminishing returns. (Made more likely by the fact that he's the only major fantasy writer she hasn't copied yet. Zing!)

From a quick skip through, seems like a dull version of Powerpuff Girls (which was awesome).
-
Oh, hey, I saw you there! I remember the cream suit! Awesome party, that.

Rewatch the last couple? That should catch you up and get you back in the flow.

That post works well with your avatar.

I think subbes was being sarcastic, guys (as in: you never complain if it's a screenshot stretching the page because you're such big nerds you allow that but not a cute ickle chicklet). I also had sound problems the other day at a Cineworld, watching Win Win, I think. There was an annoying scraping sound from the speaker every time a certain type/pitch/volume of noise was made in the film. But it was just bearable enough for me not to bother missing five minutes of the film in order to try and explain it to the staff. I also have learnt to double-check for the tiny little 'S' next to certain screening times on their site, hiding amongst all the other notations and colourings - I've shown up to a 'subtitled for the deaf and hard of hearing' screening by mistake twice now and had to leave because it's too distracting. That season card is bloody good value though!

Repeating the same action but expecting a different result. Yeah, I've seen 28 Days starring Sandra Bullock.
