  1. Areal (aka S.T.A.L.K.E.R. / Metro 3.0)

You don't care that they are lying from the start and you hope they'll still deliver what they described by showing videos of an old game someone else made?
  2. Areal (aka S.T.A.L.K.E.R. / Metro 3.0)

Yeah, just from watching the video it seems really dubious.
  3. Twitter :)

My first tweet seems to be as nerdy as my most: Also I remember that after not being able to register "Taffer" due to it being taken, I picked "T4ffer" (Thi4f was just announced) and later looked up the @Taffer guy and he basically had the same profile description that I had ("wannabe game developer" or something... wait, I still haven't changed mine so we still have a similar one...)
  4. Idle Thumbs Criterion Film Club?

I may be in though I don't like that this is somehow tied to an American BrandTM* by title. [edit] * I of course mean Hulu, not Criterion
  5. Post your face!

    Hahaha
  6. Plug your shit

Yeah. that's where the product idea started from. I think something like that was already done for PHP and .NET, but I haven't personally looked at those.

  8. Idle Workouts

I developed some pains in lower back, shoulders and hips, probably from running or not stretching after runs. So I skipped running last weekend, and went to get the custom insoles made today. I planned to run on Fri or Sat, but couldn't wait and went today. I took some new advice and ran on a softer track that is right besides the asphalt road and tried to keep a lower pulse, which was possible to my surprise. The run was also 10 minutes slower than last time for the same 6km, but it beats struggling for breath. I didn't keep track of how much walking pauses I did between running, as I only did them to keep my heart rate within a range or when my knees started hurting. Yeah, for some reason this slower running seemed to have a much bigger effect on my knees than a faster run. Maybe due to more steps being made? Planning to get a sports massage in a couple of days, maybe it'll help with the pains.
  9. No Man's Sky

Google showed only 7 results for "You can't take the No Man's Sky from me" so here's another one.
  10. Plug your shit

The code. I don't do any of the website or marketing stuff.
  11. Plug your shit

I made a big part of this shit: http://xrebel.com (SFW*) * if you make web apps in Java you might like it.

  14. Movie/TV recommendations

Any thoughts on the "Food Chain" episode of Adventure Time? I'm just speechless and had to watch it again.

  16. Half-Life 3

I didn't keep up with E3 news, but I'm assuming Valve announced HL3 but it was so underwhelming that no one wants to talk about it.
  17. Jiff?

    What the?
  18. Jiff?

    What the?
  19. Are walk boxes that tough? I guess changing old ones could be a source for bugs, but adding some doesn't sound like that much work, unless the pipeline of getting them in there is really difficult?
  20. The E3 Retrospectapalooza

    Wow, yeah. Dead island
  21. Jiff?

  24. Idle Workouts

All this bike talk is making me think why I haven't used mine for two months... I might replace one running or yoga exercise with biking. I love biking because 1) outdoors 2) the badassness feeling (although I think running makes me feel even more badass, maybe that's just initially) 3) variable pulse (can go anywhere between 100BPM or 180BPM, whereas with running I'm stuck with 160-170BPM) 4) With a lowish pulse I can do it for 2-3 hours.
  25. Jiff?

Holy fuck, now you made me realise the same. Edit: actually, nevermind, even the two online dictionaries I use have different opinions on that (Merriam-Webster and Dictionary.com)
