Is there a persistent element at all?

So Rosalina is to Peach what Princess Toadstool is to explain Super Mario to me.

Just played a bit of «Burial at Sea» and combat fatigue set in instantaneously. I hadn't followed this DLC that closesly, but for some reason I was expecting this to be very different from the main game, which proved the most wrong thing in the world to expect from it. If you loved the way literally everything was in Bioshock Infinite, you're gonna love this DLC. I know I'm done with clearing out a big room that has a fire world to the left and an ice world to the right and first you have to complete the fire world to melt the ice door.

So I'm backing this cool-looking 2D isometric sci-fi horror game called «Stasis» on Kickstarter. It has a strong «Sanitarium»-vibe, and Mark Morgan is scoring it, so I was in like a pin. Then today, I got this email about a new stretch goal called «Suicide,» whereby you'll be able to commit suicide using various objects found around the game, and now I don't know what to think.

«Indiana Jones.» Based on it, they could make the world' best adventure game. Oh wait, they already did. Okay, how about a Kinect game based on «Sans Soleil» where you have do specific motions or poses to progress to the next clip?

Now I won't have to do those things!

After my little speech, things are looking up, and the trend is rising again. Thanks, everyone!

Sure, but only the first three times (regular, new game+, and new mask black game++.) As you surely know, the timing is harder on king of snakes onyx vestment fantasy+++

Okay, I'm going to do something I've never done before; I'm going to be completely open and sincere about something: I really want this kickstarter to reach its goal. Currently it's at 89% with a little over 3 days left. According to Kicktraq, it's trending towards 102%, which is pretty close. This makes me worried, and I want to do what I can to help the chances of success. I've never asked for much; I accept that people don't back projects they don't care about or don't back at all for religious or on principle. I'm not going to ask anyone to go against what they believe in or spend money they don't have. Neither will I write some long appeal, explaining how awesome this game is going to be and that if you don't back it now you'll regret it either way. No, what I'm going to do is warn you all: This kickstarter has better make it, or else.

Yeah, I found out the dodging thing, which seems like the «glue» I need to cobble something together. Apparently you only get one dodge before you have to punch another guy, though, which I guess makes sense.

– Help me, please! The combat in this game is pretty fun, but how in the blazing fires of hell do you manage keep a combo going?! One of the early combat challenges is finishing combat without leaving whatever thing happens when you reach an x15 combo, and I never even come close! I can pretty consistently counter people and beat everyone up, but during a fight there's usually a couple of brief pauses where everyone is on the floor or whatever and my batman just stops for a minute and loses flow. I remember struggling with this in all the Batman games, so I have the feeling there's a simple thing I'm overlooking. What is the key, the secret, the protip, to getting a combo to last?

I will be, if that's any help.

So how much of this is healthcare.gov going to fix?

I wish I could do a thing where Steam didn't pop up chat notifications when I was frapsing my run. Hmm... does the daily challenge work if I launch the game outside Steam?

I'm assuming so.

Finished this. After watching the credits (in which there was an annoying camera pan through a bush,) instead of doing what I did in GTA IV – spending hours finishing up side quests and getting achievements – I turned off the PS3. Though I did spend a lot of time doing worthless OCD quests like finding all the sub parts and radioactive waste things, I am happy to find that I'm now able to play a game without my achievement madness forcing me to desecrate my sweet memories of the game. I'm pretty sure the proliferation of achievements across all platforms has contributed to my lessened interest in them.

This is not what you think!

That video was uncomfortably hard to watch, as I couldn't tell if they were being ironic or not.
