Once again I get to abuse the resurrective powers of old threads! Everyone with a Wii should already know this, but Nintendo just launched a new channel yesterday for Wii! Kirby TV Channel! 51 episodes of animated Kirby fun! I don't know why ep 38 is saying for me that "this episode is not available in your language." As all the eps are in english. First four are available now. I don't know why big N did this, but it sure is awesome. Even the streaming picture quality is really good. Now if they make the do the mario stuff and excuuuuuse meeee princess next... oh hell yeah

Gah, I don't care that much about LA Noire, but where's my RDR for PC? Rockstar clearly don't want my euros..

Today's the day of the grand finale. Shame it's not out yet at the time of writing this. I'm in an adventure game rush mode right now and going through Telltale games today. EDIT: I guess they are uploading it at the moment as the whole Telltale pages went down again. Funny that I can't play Sam&Max 1x02 at all because it "doesn't let me login". I should just install it from the dvd I guess.

My fault is because I have too much stuff. I do in fact have the third season on dvd since new year. Me. I started replaying the Sam & Max games of Telltale. Just finished the first ep, I've never actually played further than 1x03. I wonder why Hot Scoops is under the "special thanks to" in the end credits? I really wonder has it really been already five years since the first season came out... so crazy how fast time is going.

I would love to try out the Wiiware versions, I've heard a lot of negative feedback about the compression of those. What the hell is wrong with me, I received The Devil's Playhouse dvd around new year and I've had the third season on my shelf already six months...

Hehe, last summer I visited an onsen for the first time and it was really awesome experience. I still might have a chance this time also if they let me in with a plastic bag taped over my hand. Lets see, they might not let me in as it's not really hygienic or polite to walk around with a plastic bag covering the arm... I have now two weeks time to quick learn at least some Japanese, man I really do suck. I have wasted now couple of years and still don't know much anything about the language even when I'm married to a Japanese lady. She on the other hand has learned Finnish in just a few years perfectly and is now learning Swedish already. Yeah in two weeks we are going on 1st July with Lufthansa to Tokyo again. Might not go to ryokan as we are staying the whole two weeks in my wife's parents place which is usually hot as hell during summer, but good thing they all have air conditioning there. Well, as I said while it was swollen it was not hurting during the years, it just didn't bend all the way it was supposed to so I could play games pretty well. What sucks now is that while the cast is still on, I can't play any FPS etc games and almost nothing with the Wii/DS/PSP. So no Duke or anything like that for quite some time. But I realized that I can play adventure games by using the mouse in my left hand if I can learn to use my useless left hand. I'm a right handed person so it's quite difficult to eat stuff and write anything right now. So I guess it's time to play Gemini Rue and Telltale catalogue and maybe some replays of Lucasarts adventures.

Well, while it was swollen, it didn't really hurt at all, it kind of just settled in that shape, but every time I twisted it, it started really hurting and getting more swollen. Shame that I didn't take a before/after pic so I could've shown how swollen it was.

Today I upgraded my right hand thumb to version 2.0. It had been messed up for the past maybe 12 years. It went messed up in a amateur floorball match originally and couple of times in other occasions after that. Three weeks ago I was playing a football match and again I twisted it so the lowest joint in my thumb was really sore and aching. Correct term might be thumb arthritis? The joint was actually swollen for over 10 years, but now I finally got to see a good doctor, my workplace's doctor who immediately studied it carefully and sent me forwards to an orthopedic doctor in the central hospital. Well three weeks later tuesday this week I got the time to see him and yesterday he told me that they will do a surgery. "How about tomorrow, son?" Usually these things take months before any surgery time is available. So today I went to the hospital and they did the operation. It was a success and now I have a cast in my arm/hand. I have to keep this thing for four weeks. This means I will miss onsen in Japan and that sucks big time. I would've loved to go there, but on the plus side I got paid sick leave from work for TWO MONTHS and I get to save my two weeks of summer vacation for later so I can keep all my five weeks still at some point.

No, I have just these two. I know there are like 2-3 games for PS1 that were pretty bad and then the N64 version which ok I guess. Theme Hospital is the wickest.

The prices start to be almost at the point where I could by a 3DS. In Finland they are ripping off almost 300€ of each 3DS at the brick and mortar shops, but amazon.co.uk for example would cost for me 215 euros with the super saver option turned on. But I think I will still wait for the inevitable 3DS lite version with enhanced battery. I got enough crappy battery situations with the PSP.

While waiting for the super long delivery. I finally managed to finish something in the Duke saga. Completed the whole Duke Nukum 1 game during last week for the first time. I have played it several times in the past, but never completely through all the episodes. It was a bit uneven game, there were really difficult levels and some were just way too easy to pass through. It didn't really feel like the later versions of Duke yet, but it was a solid sidescroller game. Sound effects were really simple and Replogle, Blum and co. seemed to be really proud of the Duke jump animation mechanics. Also funny about the name Duke Nukum and the story behind it. Then they just left it like that even after continuing with the later games being Nukem again. I am at the moment going through DN2, Duke Manhattan Project, Duke GBA and the GBC versions. So a playthrough of all should happen before DNF arrives someday by post.

I wasn't supposed to play the demo, but as the shipping is taking FOREVER I decided to dip in the first access demo that was sitting in my Steam list. I feel the same as elmuerte. It's like Duke3D, but the modern console stupidity with 2 weapon limit and regen health. Also don't like drunk stuff after Duke takes just one beer, what is that about?

Yesterday I don't remember where, but I read a comment about BG&E2 from the developers, it might have been even Ancel himself saying that they have BG&E2 completely as a background project because they would like to release it on consoles, but Xbox360 and PS3 are not up to the task. In the bit I read it was said that they are designing it on a super high end PC and they can't continue until the consoles are on the same level as PC's these days. I get that Ubi doesn't want to release it just as a PC game, but wouldn't that be awesome? So yeah, Norway was awesome once again! Super expensive, but I really liked Oslo. I will definitely go back there or somewhere else in Norway someday. That country is not meant for poor foreign tourists. The fjords around Oslo were really nice, we took a boat ride around there. I want a summer cottage from there! Need to win in a lottery first I guess.

Is anybody else getting error messages all the time in the PSP PSN store? I was checking it since it came back online, but every day I get some weird errors on some parts of the store. I of course made my login after the whole hack incident so I don't get any free games, but that's ok. I already got LPB with the PSP console itself as UMD and the others didn't interest me at all. Are there a lot of free demos and stuff in the PSP store usually? Is it useful to create more than one account, my only one with a fake name is for Finland so I guess Euro store is the same for all Euro countries, right?

I watched King Ralph yesterday. Peter O'Toole has really selected some weird roles during his career. Also wtf, Kingdom of Finland? Really? At least they got the anthem and flag right, which is surprising. But still a funny but weird movie from 1991!
