I'm replying to toblix's old comment from way back in April, it's been six months now and four episodes are out. I started playing The Walking Dead finally last week and I'm in the middle of the second episode right now. I'm having the same issues as toblix had, but I'm having these with both episodes so far and it's annoying as hell when it happens in every cutscene or action scene. I almost couldn't play the second episode as these glitches and sound and movement clipping just became worse in that episode. Has Telltale done anything to fix this stuff on PC. The QA seems a bit lacking on PC side when these kind of problems slip through as they affect the overall gameplay throughout the game and it's episodes. I have contacted Telltale in their forums at the Support pages, but I haven't received any reply yet. EDIT: Ahh ok, should've read further, I'll also try dropping the shadow quality. Weird that quad core and NVIDIA GTX560 are not powerful enough to run high detail shadows in The Walking Dead. There were some issues with episode 1. Also at the motel three sentences came without audio, that was strange. I have to ask that is there any skip dialogue button for those cases when you hear the same dialogue again? Or is it a conscious choice to leave that button out of the design?

I sent Ubisoft mail about this game as it is rather badly supported on Android. Rayman Jungle Run works perfectly on my phone and almost perfectly on tablet. Some sound issues annoy on tablet, but still it runs great. This is one game that I would immediately pay to Ubisoft, shame they don't want my money. And yes I tested an external apk for this as they gave no official solution so I did my own QA for them. Still to this day they have not made it available for my phone in Play Store...

Disney owns Lucasfilm & Lucasarts. Holy shit. Episode 7 coming in 2015 so they are really kicking the gears rolling. This also means that Disney owns Howard the Duck now. Also maybe even this would mean the original movies coming in bluray form without special edition changes. And maybe the old adventure games will finally arrive to GoG. They are right now negotiating with one of the three: Microsoft, Take2 and Lucasarts/Disney.

HBO Nordic still isn't here, and will not be for the next few weeks. They are having some problems with the launch and at least in Finland I'm not that surprised as here they bought the systems of UrhoTV, our crappiest of crap channel that shows awfully bad quality net streams of Finnish football league and the Finnish ice hockey league. Netflix came over a week ago and they suck also. They brag about supporting 800 devices, probably because they counted all Android device models separately. Still on tv&bluray player side they only offer Netflix in Sony & Samsung devices for 2012 models. I don't know who to blame really as both parties are giving me monkey replies. Sony reply was that it's Netflix's fault and the whole text in Finnish was so full of alphabetical errors that I'm thinking it was written by helpdesk in India and ran through Google Translate before sending. Netflix says basically nothing and just promotes their 800 devices support. It's incredible that only 2012 devices in tv&bluray&home theater are supported. I could use with my android or tablet, but I don't want to. My living room is also too far away from my pc room so I have no possibility to drag cables around the apartment to connect pc to the tv. I think in USA even 2010 tv models support Netflix app.

I doubt they have any real developers in the company anymore. Based on the fact even this new iteration is trying to outsource all development. I visited their webpages during the Kickstarter project and there was mention about mobile gaming. Oh yeah, one major problem with both their Kickstarter video and also this Summer of games video is this blonde b-movie & tv show actress Sasha Jackson who only got the part because some guy at Cinemaware kind of knew her. I think her resume so far was pretty much appearing in bikini in some crappy movies and tv shows. Her resume has for example recently being a "girl at gym" in an uncredited tv show appearance. I really don't get why they were counting on her sex appeal and acting in front of awkward situations in front of a green screen. That only hurt the project.

The creator of the game did make a sequel to Wings, it is freeware these days. The guy that created that game (Miika Virpioja) is working in Rovio at the moment by the way and is the lead in the Bad Piggies project. http://www.wings2.net/ I really was interested in this project, but it was doomed to fail from the start. Cinemaware as a company doesn't exist in the way it used to. This is the third coming for the company, the original went bankcrupt and the during the second time they made a Defender of the Crown sequel and produced three GBA remakes that were Defender of the Crown, Wings and Three Stooges. The company stopped existing after that and was sold to some other party. The GBA games were made by an Italian company that would've also made this Wings remake that was in this Kickstarter. So Cinemaware themselves were just creating the concept and they pushed the actual development to some third party company that has never really made any great games.

I have had Peacewalker for PSP for maybe 1,5 years now, but the horrible controlling options put me off from this game and I really haven't bothered to play it that much. I should get back to it someday I suppose.

He got the book successfully funded. I didn't pledge for this as it was quite expensive, but the book does look and sound like an excellent achievement. I value Sensible Software really high in my lists so this book would've been great, if I was richer. An ebook option would've been nice, that I could've pledged. He plans to start a business on making books of other companies as well so if the business really gets up and running we might have some really exciting projects coming up.

Yeah I noticed it showing information that they will automatically take money from me in september. After today morning's session with the UI I can pretty much say it works fast without any slowdowns, is a horrible mess to find anything, but still tries to be pretty for the masses. Isn't that basically the same as the Metro UI?

I explained in the gamertag thread that I caved in and bought a used Xbox S version for cheap price. I wasn't interested in the gold account as I didn't really know what differences are between normal and gold account. MS was offering 1 month for 1 euro, but I thought I don't need it. Then next page came a pop up saying that they offer one month for free if I take it. Wtf was that force feeding? Well, I'm weak against free offers so I took it. Annoyingly it still asked me for my credit card details. About the UI I can't say much. I dislike the ads quite a lot, but I have no idea how the UI was before. Also I think Steam is kind of ok service, but the client is really heavy and slow. It's quite unbelievable when you think how much money they get and still they don't hire someone to fix and design the client to work better and faster. GOG has always worked fine for me. There I have really no big complaints. Except their discounts are always -50%, they could work on that aspect a bit. PSN I have only used with PSP and the design is quite horrible. Hard to find stuff fast.

Well, I made an account. I'm Kolzig73 in Xbox Live. Really weird thing happened when I made the account. There was an offer for 1 month gold account for 1 euro. I declined that, but next I was offered one month for free?!? So I took that in the end.

I'm not yet anything on Xbox, but I caved in and bought it as I got one for cheap price. I have a question that are some releases region locked as in so that I can't get something if I make my profile to Finland? I heard something from a work colleague about that? How are the other Finnish Thumbs using their Xbox, I'm new at this so no idea about anything? I'll let you guys know what is my gamertag after I've created a profile.

Why isn't NOLF available for purchase & download anywhere or is it and I'm just blind? Especially the second one which I have never played as there was always problems getting it to work on my computer.

Maybe someone at Funcom should finally give all the resources to Ragnar Tornquist to finally go back to The Longest Journey universe and stop this MMORPG nonsense.

Now the only question remains, will it have the horrible GFWL if Microsoft has anything to do with the PC port as they funded the development on XBLA?
