Yeah it's an amazing bundle. So happy that Europe also got it this time. The claiming of the codes was super easy. There was a direct link in your own humble bundle codepage. Just two clicks per game and game was claimed and the automatic downloading started to the consoles.

Modest Tech: The NX Generation (Nintendo Switch)
Kolzig replied to dartmonkey's topic in Video Gaming
Depends on what Nintendo will do with Wii U this year. A load indie games are coming for sure, but from disc games I can think of just Tokyo Mirage Sessions and Paper Mario Colour Splash coming out this year. They need to give Wii U a hell of a swan song year before NX comes next year. Next year Wii U is 4.5 years old when NX arrives. 3DS is six years old by that point. Gamecube was five for Americans and 4.5 years for Euros when it was replaced by Wii. So there's nothing new there in that sense that the time is "short". I personally am ready for the next generation to start now that Nintendo is starting it next year. I've received so much good from 3DS and Wii U that I am very satisfied at least. There maybe wasn't hundreds of games, but the games that did come were just absolutely full of fun. -
Holy crap the new Euro and America Humble Nintendo Bundle is awesome. And seems to be really selling incredibly fast huge amounts. 63000 bundles just today. That's even a really great selection of games. Shame I have already most of those. Especially Affordable Space Adventures for just 1 dollar is insane. The game is worth so much more. And regarding Star Fox, I have had no problems with the controls. As fluid as Splatoon controls for me.

Just got Star Fox Zero First Print edition through the mail. Can't wait to play both Zero and Guard now. Also was cool that the delivery came one day before the official release date.

Ok, now it should work. He is a Chihuahua, probably the most silent Chihuahua in the world.

Here's my boy Hachi. His 7th birthday is today. I hope the picture shows as I'm editing this on mobile.

The most annoying part of that file size is that even if I choose in app details that "move to SD card", it moves like 20MB to SD card and the rest stays in the internal memory. Just madness!

I got last year in June a Sony Xperia Z3 Compact to replace my broken Nexus 4 that I dropped on concrete floor by accident. I was happy with the Nexus 4 for the over two years that I had it, but this Z3 Compact is clearly the best phone I've ever had, really nice build quality and a dedicated photo button, really awesome battery performance and Sony's Stamina mode to save battery in low charge situations is also really great. Camera is also light years beyond what I had in Nexus 4. N4's camera was really crappy. Also pretty much all better Sony phones have for years already had the certifications for dustproof and waterproof. Mine is also such. It just blows my mind that for example all Apple devices are still not dustproof or especially waterproof certified. Z3 Compact is also getting Android 6.0 now as it was announced last weekend, some regions already got it, we poor Nordic country people are still waiting for the update to arrive. Shame that pretty much all OEM are not taking into use the Marshmallow big update feature which is the part that SD card could be used as part of the internal memory to have a bigger space for apps. I have also some problems with this since I'd really like to have more than 16GB of space. Maybe I should install less apps then? I have no problems with photos or music or other removable media since I have 64GB microSD card in the phone and it works perfectly for that. So mainly the 16GB is just filling up because of apps. Like just Miitomo takes 600MB of space, wtf? My wife got two months ago Z5 Compact from Sony and it's also very nice, it has the fingerprint lock thingy that is in some modern phones, also 32GB of internal space which is something I wish I had. The thing I love about Sony phones is that their current UI is quite close to vanilla Android and I really liked the vanilla Android experience with Nexus devices. I hate heavily customized UI skins.

Earlier already when some info was leaked that this movie will feature some sort of black armored Stormtroopers that I think pop up briefly in that trailer as well, I immediately thought they are taking the Imperial Dark Trooper idea from the Dark Forces games. I like that, but damn they really need to have Kyle Katarn in this one way or the other. To hell with the Disney plans that all Expanded Universe is just "legends of the past". Also that whitesuited Grand Admiral, I can't be the only one that wishes that guy had blue skin, right?
-
I still dream of a Wii U version of this game that was originally promised... my only hope is that Curve Digital would port it.

Looks in many ways a lot better than JJ's Ep4 remake that was Ep7. Oh man that was such a horrible letdown of a movie for me. The only thing that bothers me here is that I can't imagine Forest Whitaker in a Star Wars movie, he is too famous for me. They better have Kyle Katarn in this movie one way or the other or Mickey Mouse's head will fly.

Since I've been gone too much I've missed this thread, and the episode as well. I've only once visited the land of Amurica in the year of 1992. I visited Orlando, Florida with my dad and we went to Disneyworld, Universal Studios and the Epcot center place. I won a Luigi plushie doll in Universal studios in some watergun competion booth, and I lost it in the hotel on the day we left back to Finland. I seriously miss that doll, it's so weird because I never was a Nintendo gamer before Sega went busted and I got a GBA. It would have changed a lot if I had that Luigi doll through the years because 1992 or 1993 was the year I got my Sega Mega Drive as a present and truly became a Sega fan. One thing I remember from Disneyworld is that there was a huge line to everywhere so we missed most rides since my dad doesn't want to wait. I do remember missing for example Pirates of the Caribbean ride and that sucks, that's the one that I in retrospect would have liked to see the most. I actually don't remember being on that many rides there, we just mostly walked around for the whole day if memory serves me correctly. We did take the Jules Verne submarine adventure that was discussed earlier in this thread and we also went to the surreal singing boat ride, It's a Small World. That place gave me the most creeps when I was there. Universal Studios was cool, I remember there was the Jaws shark on display and a live show about Indiana Jones and the boulder from Raiders of the Lost Ark. There was a show about the Backdraft movie as well, never went to that actually until later in Universal Studios Japan in Osaka in 2010. I've also visited in the past years the Tokyo Disney Resort, both the Land and Sea parts of it. Tower of Terror was cool. I have old VHS cassettes of Disneyworld and Epcot Center from the early 90's that we bought from a Disney gift shop. If those are not in Youtube, I'll rip those someday. Those are full of magical weird promotional stuff and old nostalgia.

It's beyond weird to me that you can sign in and create a Nintendo Account with your Google+ account and you can link it in Nintendo Account settings, but it's not possible to use G+ to search for friends in Miitomo. Also, hard to find Miitomo friends because it seems it only checks people who are following you, not who you are following. Don't know about that friends of friends thing yet as I couldn't test it yet.
-
Well, I've got the Miitomo app sideloaded to my Android so lets see if friends can be added. I'm @Kolzig73 in Twitter. Can't connect it to my Nintendo Account, but lets see if I can get any fun out of it even if I can't collect platinum points thanks to Nintendo.
-
I wish they would stop with regional blocking stupidity and release Miitomo globally. I've been testing the apk, but can't link it to my Nintendo Account because of Nintendo. At least they should release it in the Nordic countries and I hope they don't localize it in Finnish and try to force it in just that language and no English...

Just got Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright a few days ago. I thought I could never find this game in the shops since I've never seen it sold anywhere, but totally by random I saw it in this week in one strange shop and immediately bought. And it soooo good. The only weird thing about it is hearing Phoenix and Maya talk English in the video cutscenes.

Cool, thanks. That's not bad 27€ with shipping included.

Dang, double post.

Anybody in Europe know where I could get Lego Jurassic World for Wii U for a low price? Really annoys me those Steam Lego sales that are even now on going. Warner never does something like that sale in the Wii U eShop.

Modest Tech: The NX Generation (Nintendo Switch)

Hahaha awesome, so it was "a gaf inside job" in a way. Official Nintendo hardware just doesn't leak, but that is just magnificiently done fake. -
The making of DotT remastered documentary is out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?&v=LjF4eMrYfG0

Zelda U won't be a NX exclusive. But there is a very big possibility that it will get the Twilight Princess treatment and launch on two platforms. I have really enjoyed Wii U ever since I got it in Christmas 2013. What a wonderful console. Loads of great games in the eShop and Nintendo's own line up has been truly remarkable. If they can make NX backwards compatible with Wii U, then that would excellent. They just need to solve how to synchronize the gamepad then to NX. Isn't it kind of locked and synchronized to one specific console?

First thing I did today morning was download the game on my PS Vita and on PC from GOG. Oh it's so glorious. I showed the Vita version at work to some colleagues. I for example really like the way they made the menu out of Bernard's room. And the flexible options are great. Can't wait to check out all the commentaries.
