I've won 5 out of 20+ matches and I'm usually in the top 4 on my teams. This is going well. EDIT: I just lost a match by 10,000 points. It was so bad the game was just like nah we're ending this. EDIT: I WON A MATCH AFTER ALMOST TWO STRAIGHT HOURS OF PLAYING?!?

Oh I could totally go for some Iron Banner right now. Hopefully that counts for the PVP portion of the MOT and then I can do the rotating stuff for fragments next week and by then I should be able to do the hard mode raid and not hold a group back too much. Do you need to finish the normal raid before you can jump into hard mode?

Wasn't this made by someone who's real big into ""Ethics" in Games journalism"? I've been avoiding it because of that but that was a while ago so I may be miss remembering.

Question: Alternative to Twine for a Nascent Coder
Vulpes Absurda replied to PileOfMeatballs's topic in Game Development
Yarn for unity might also be worth a look: https://github.com/InfiniteAmmoInc/Yarn I know little about it but I would think having Unity backing it up might help with the limitations thing but you'd need more coding to make it work. -
The PVP is still really fun in this and I think I like it more then Overwatch but it's a shame there's not really a huge player base for it at the moment. I keep getting matched with people who have been playing it non-stop since it came out and I can't really keep up.

Bloodborne (Dark Souls 2 successor (Dark Souls successor (Demon's Souls successor)))
Vulpes Absurda replied to melmer's topic in Video Gaming
Bloodborne dosn't have a good ending anyways. As explained in this really great video that spoils everything about the game: -
Quick PSA Niantic has issued a patch that fixes the account access issue (according to them but I don't see any reason to doubt them) so anyone who quit because of that can hop back in.

I would just summon for that fight. It's a hard one. The other option is to learn which attacks can be parried but he's fairly inconsistent about using those attacks. Oh there is one trick! You can keep him from going into his second phase by hitting him with a charge attack as he's got his sword in the ground. You have to be quick but if you can do it the second half is a lot easier. -
It feels like an early access game. Honestly I would have returned it if it had been made by someone else but I feel okay with just giving Harebrained Schemes the money so I figure I'll see where it goes from here.

I deleted this today based the fact that it is both A: A bad game at the moment. and B: tracks me more then I am comfortable with and has some huge security risks laid out here: https://www.buzzfeed.com/josephbernstein/heres-all-the-data-pokemon-go-is-collecting-from-your-phone?utm_term=.hs5vmXbka#.sop1JqkRz

I'm around 300 as well and will be around on weekends to do stuff. I can't remember if we're PSN friends but if we aren't just send me an invite saying who you are on the forums. Assuming it's not obvious.

I turned this on today and found 11 sterling treasures at the post master. O_o

Maybe a hard drive thing? That or a weird bug with Destiny itself.

Now if only Sony would let me change my username to something I would want on a shirt.

HELP: Attempted upgrade of PC gone wrong
Vulpes Absurda replied to PileOfMeatballs's topic in Idle Banter
Amazon will take back open stuff if it doesn't work. And I assume most retailers will as well. -
Maybe someone on here who all the DLC will buy the code off of you. I would if I wanted the DLC.

I've been playing TMS FE and figured I would post my thoughts on it so far: I'm kinda baffled by how so many people are freaking out about TMS FE. In my time with its been a mediocre Persona clone. It's okay I guess? It's got the same issue the Fire Emblem games have where it doesn't feel like there was a writer, so much as there was a guy payed to pick which anime tropes they would use by pointing to a bunch of cardboard cutouts characters from better media. The game play is fun enough, but not super deep as of yet, it doesn't have the fusion system from other SMT games so it feels shallow in comparison, it could very well pick up and become more interesting and there's room for it to do so, but as of the second dungeon it hasn't yet. Which to be fair is also true of most SMT games. My biggest issue is that the whole game feels skeevy because of the way it introduces women by panning up from their feet and stops at their breasts, and then puts the the dialogue boxes right at chest level so while you're reading you can watch the jiggle physics in action. It's really creepy, more so when you factor in that the several of the characters are 17 (technically 18 for the US release but that hardly makes it better anyways). Honestly the only reason I'm not willing to call the game out right bad is that I'm only in the second dungeon. On the plus side: I guess the music is okay? I'm not into Jpop so I never expected to like the music anyways, but I do find the animated Jpop videos in it pretty dull but the battle music is fine.

I've been on Twitter for about five years now, I've tweeted all sort of things (Mostly foxes I'll be honest) but before Sunday I'd never had anything go over ten retweets in till I tweeted this: "Have I tweeted this picture before?: " One follower retweeted it and now it has 33 retweets and 73 faves, two of them from people who follow me. The internet is weird. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Official Giant Bomb Thread Mostly for Complaining About Dan
Vulpes Absurda replied to tegan's topic in Idle Banter
I'll be curious to see who they hire next. It seems like the obvious candidates (Cara Ellison, Danielle Riendeau, whose name I misspelled so badly that even Google had no idea who I was talking about) are all taken but I really hope they don't hire another Dan as the last thing they need is more straight white cis dudes at Giant Bomb. Maybe they'll just higher all of kotaku just to get Patrick back.- 1367 replies

Persona 5 - 2015 the year of the PS3 / Persona Q - 3DS
Vulpes Absurda replied to melmer's topic in Video Gaming
Anyone want to watch nine minutes of sizzle real footage taken off of a screen at E3? Well here you go!: Looks like they're folding some more of mainline SMT back into the combat by having the shadows be Persona's and bringing demon conversation back into it. I like it so far. Also there's a butt dungeon? -
I thought that whole Zelda stream was super dull. I only watched the bit that Giant Bomb streamed out but everything about it made it feel like an open world also ran.
