  1. Fallout 4 — Boston Makes Me Feel Good

Have you found the courier mail boxes yet? I dunno where all of them are but one is in Primm, one in Novac and one in Freeside, probably others as well. You can use any of them to send any items to any of the other ones and the items will wait there for you. It gives you a pop up that'll list all of them, might be more than 3 but no more than 5 I think. Maybe Goodsprings has one?

  3. Life

I didn't actually fall but I fucked up switching my bike seat, I left it too loose. It tilted backwards and I landed on it on my stomach. In front of the american embassy.
  4. Fallout 4 — Boston Makes Me Feel Good

I found it silly that the best gun that I've found in my last playthrough (12mm machine gun) came off a legion assassin squad and I was glad when they show showed up. It meant I could repair the gun again!
  5. ROBOT NEWS. I have an idea what the letdown/elaboration on "Samantha West" is
  6. Fallout 4 — Boston Makes Me Feel Good

Just open the console ~, click legion man, type "kill", done.
  7. "Ethics and Journalistic Integrity"

Twitch will mute huge parts of your video (30+ minutes) for a 3 minute song, just to be sure, but only after the broadcast is done. Only a human can stop your stream though, the system does nothing when you stream.
  8. Hello & a questions on narratives

I'd say they definitely ramp up. You start a typical WoW style MMO with a new character, you start in some tiny area with few options for combat, few directions to go and all these systems to discover. Then you get more stuff, more things to gather, more damage (numbers go up), more skills to deal damage with, a mount to move faster/fly, bigger cooldown skills that cause bigger effects, finding parties to do elite quests (2-3 people maybe), 5 man parties, 10 or 25 or 40 man raids. DOTA and it's brethren have a curve in pacing that RTS games lack. Fighting doesn't happen all the time, there's lulls where you can think about what is going to happen and what you should do about it.
  9. DOTA 2

Doesn't actually stop his blink strike, it's some kind of ulti or physical spell deal. http://dota2.gamepedia.com/Riki It used to stop it before they switched it as his ulti!
  10. DOTA 2

BKB's actually pretty good vs riki!
  11. How can a game be broken if it has these kinds of decks? http://archive.wizards.com/Magic/magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/rc/195
  12. Paradoxically, always playing to win over getting better will make you lose more games long term. Mark Rosewater (head designer of MTG) coined the 3 archetypes of players he sees for MTG: - players who want to see big effects, big creatures, big spells - players who want to win via some clever play, combo players, unorthodox strategy, do not like netdecking (copying a deck you see online 1:1) - players who want to win whatever strategy it takes, big fans of netdecking He also said there's a lot of overlap between them. David Sirlin did a really good article series http://www.sirlin.net/articles/playing-to-win Personally, winning is still the top goal, but there's a difference between winning every single game versus winning more games over time. Sirlin explains it, as well as what "fun" and "interesting" games might mean.
  13. Guild Wars 2

I'm trying this out since it's free now, I'm Jutranjo.8326 on Fissure of Woe (maybe this is the server name?), on EU. Do I need to be on the same server as someone else to group with them? Free accounts can only make characters on one server.

What, 100 trees isn't a forest any more if you chop down a tree?
  15. Dota 2 - Summer 2016 Roster Shuffles

At least 95% of all the grossness is contained in the reddit subforum.
  16. DOTA 2

There's used to be a lot of people who just watched SC2, because playing was a gigantic chore and you didn't need to know what timing a 4gate had, you just knew the casters were saying it's an all-in/rush. I wouldn't have believed dota2 would be similar a few years ago but turns out you can watch it fine without knowing the finer things as long as casters tell you something's a pushing draft. It also helps the players are a lot more charismatic on camera in comparison, good thing it's a team game.

Could I take the Dragonfall please?
  18. The Witcher 3: What Geralt Wants

I barely got it to run on a 7700 at the minimum 4:3 resolution with everything set to lowest. It still looked nice but I had to restart every so often from memory leaks, might have been just my PC.
  19. Netrunner!

Sorry, with interacting I meant breaking subroutines via the paid ability. If an ice doesn't have a subroutine that ends the run, it doesn't end the run. You don't need any icebreakers to get past Neural Katana, it'll just deal 3 net damage.
  20. Netrunner!

The ice breaker needs to match the type to interact with the specific ice, otherwise the only interaction is can do is waste money by increasing it's strength. All strength is lost after every ice encounter unless otherwise specified (all 3 shaper icebreakers retain strength). If an ice is a sentry, only sentry ice breakers and non specific ice breakers are able to break it's subroutines. The sentry ice breakers have Program: Icebreaker - Killer, as well as subroutines that say Break sentry subroutine. A Gordian Blade has Break codegate subroutine so that won't work. There's AI icebreakers like Crypsis and Wyrm. Those just have Break Ice Subroutine, you can use those on any ice, even ice that isn't a sentry/barrier/codegate. You could use YOG.0 and Wyrm to break subroutines on codegates that high a too high strength but before an icebreaker can interact with an ice it needs to have equal or greater strength. Wyrm is really expensive by itself but slightly less expensive if you have a 2nd breaker, since Wyrm's subroutine breaking requires the ice to have a strength of 0.
  21. The International 5 (TI5) - Dota 2

Back in SC2: Wings of Liberty, people would chant U-S-A at live events for any non korean player, mostly Europeans. I'm convinced this was still meant to be ironic despite the fact that it's a team of 3 USA players, a canadian and a Pakistan immigrant to the USA. This and DAC is the first time I remember an american (NA/USA/SA) player/team winning anything big.
  22. The International 5 (TI5) - Dota 2

Only text articles I've found are on http://www.liquiddota.com/forum/ti5/492133-ti5-grand-finals-bleed-blue, that one's for the final day. They have recommended games for every day pretty much, helps a lot in the group stage 30+ games per day.
  23. The International 5 (TI5) - Dota 2

Dreamhack's SC2 3+ years ago had about as graceful endings as this. What an echo
  24. The International 5 (TI5) - Dota 2

I'm cheering for Secret but watching Chuan leap out of his chair after game 1 showed him so well. He was so excited/happy! This feels worse than last years Orange aegis self deny
