Ceasar 3, Pharaoh and Zeus were played a lot in my group of friends. I bought Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom but I never got into it. Is there any simple historical reason for that? I know nothing about about it, it's probably complex?

Sorry, I forgot to say, I think everyone's preferred version is TFT, all the added units, shops, boats, neutral heroes were/are cool. I'm up for team games too, it's just I've never played them much, most that I saw were basically 4 people ganging up on someone's base in a rush. Can you TP to allies' town halls?

BTS's got a new commentator, Llama, she sounded pretty good But I haven't seen her at any live events. I don't even know of any other women casters/analysts in the scene besides her and Sheever who wouldn't have this as their first live event. It's not like there's more than maybe 5 people that aren't on the list of invited people but that could have potentially been invited. At least, based on previous Valve decisions. Unless you're on steam you could just not patch it. GoG's version is pretty good for not patching itself of it's own volition. What did they change?

Buff dudes in blizzard games aren't from WH40k Space Marine Suits, all the orcs, etc are also huge. Also they all have gigantic shoulderpads/pauldrons.

The last time I remember a game dev saying "We have almost all common names in our database recorded!" was Black and White 1. It wasn't very impressive. Great if your god is going to be named Steve, Mary or Peter but not if it's Domen, Jošt or Jernej. I read "progressive" as a joke at first but it could actually be a lot better in Fallout than it was in B&W. Most characters would probably have english names if they lived in the Boston area. If your name isn't there will it just say "Oh hey there!" instead of "Oh hey there Joe!"?

You could stream it and save the VOD as well so people wouldn't have to be awake at the same time.

I've never used a controller with any regularity, I don't even know where A and B are on my Gameboy. I have no idea where any key is suppose to be. Any time I touch one I have to look down to figure out what buttons are there and where they are.

I read that they're adding an option to autotarget grenades/mortars at enemies without having to mash the 1 key, just hold it. Also no need to have the mouse over the target. Maybe I'll grenade kit more now.

I think they're done with things getting +x/+x whenever X creature is played. The 2 or 3 things that get boosted by secrets don't seem to be big deal yet. The change just seems dumb because they for months say that it's fine, people will learn how to counter it then do this nerf. It doesn't SEEM well thought out, they had months to think of things to change. Plus they screwed up arena warrior even more, it could have been a 2 mana 2/3 or a 3 mana 3/4 with the same ability and still no one would run it in constructed. At least you always get 3 classes to pick from, so you don't ever need to pick warrior in arena, that'd be a gigantic misplay/bad draft choice. -
As with anything Christmas related on these boards, it'll probably be done months before Christmas.
