I had to use a guide to play Majora's Mask and It's still my favorite and also the best Zelda. I think that the backlash against the backlash of the initial backlash is weird. The game was generally not compared favorably to OoT at the time which I think most people still consider to be the best of the series. So MM developed a cult following when more and more people played it with maybe lowered expectations and found out it's actually a weird and cool game. Wind Waker is also good. Can anyone recommend a cheap eshop game? I have around five nintendo bux on my account and I don't know what to get. I'd ideally like to get something puzzle-y or arcadey with a lot of mindless replay value.

To clarify I think the art looks nice. Its clean and bright, which is rad. I just don't get the Pixar comparison.

Still not getting Pixar from that. Its far too bland. Maybe older DreamWorks before they started making alright movies? Mostly its just cartoony cg people to me. I also just remembered how much I dislike blizzard's humor so I'm pulling for this to not have that.

Is it just me or do the DLC playlists in the PC version not have anyone playing on them ever? it would be cool if they just said fuck it, we'll give them to everyone and then give people who bought them some elite skin or something. No way in hell am I going to spend ten to twenty five bucks on some maps that literally two people are playing at any given time. It's such a shame that they fucked up so hard with this game because I do really enjoy it. Just so much they did wrong, yeesh.

That's a much larger project than a twin peaks podcast by a few hundred hours. I just started watching the x-files for the first time though, so I vote yes. Perhaps we ought to just make a thread for talking about them in order though.

Watched You're Next again on Halloween and it held up really well to a repeat viewing. Home invasion horror movie that plays with expectations in fun ways and has some hilarious familial bickering. Works great with a crowd, too.

I'm feeling mixed on it as well. The mechanics are pretty fun, but it generally feels one sided in each game, even though the wonrates seem pretty balanced. The match length being pretty short is great, BUT coupled with the long load times/time between rounds it's a huge drag to spend so much time not playing.

What does the demo have in it? Haven't played a Pokemon since pearl and I haven't finished one since red. Does it let you play through the first gym or what? Can't decide whether I want to try it out or give my code to my Pokemon lovin friend.

I'm thinking of picking up a new game for my birthday this Friday and its looking like I'll finally be adding Carcassonne to my collection. Should I be on with just the base game or is there an essential expansion I oughta pick up with it?

Finally went back and finished up Sleeping Dogs last night, after watching Patricia and Danielle stream the new version the other day. The ending was reaaaaalllly dumb. Game is still really good though, well worth picking up next time it's on sale on steam. It really feels like a game that could have benefited either from more time in development or, preferably, just cutting some half baked plotlines.
