So thanks for the help, I managed to keep going, and killed the two bosses then stopped. The second had a mechanic that I figured out by chance from dying like 100038972983 times to it. I thought the actual mechanic itself was good, but I didn't like how there was no single clue to tell you how to do it. I only figured it out by trying to shoot everything and anything which isn't really how bosses should work in my opinion.

Yeah, I dislike the machines (called Smith Machine by the way) because they really limit your range of motion. It's incredibly rigid and awkward. There's a huge difference between pushing through difficulty/tiredness and pushing through pain. If something hurts, I stop. If I'm tired, I try to do more until I can't.

Um...no! That sounds weird. I didn't get taught to wall jump, I just accidentally did it a couple of times and realised it was a thing.
-
Oh god, so I was RIGHT THERE until I got pulled into a damn sand pit?! I'm ok at wall jumping. I can't do it 100% of the time, but I can do it more often than not. I'm tempted to leave work early to go do this...

So I played some more this morning, and could not find a way to access that room eot pointed out. In my attmept, I managed to get stuck in a room I don't think I'm meant to go into yet. There's a sand-waterfall, missile upgrade and health upgrade (which I can't access). Totally trapped!

Some heartless jackass makes a fake Majora's Mask HD trailer because he hates me, specifically

More to the point, why haven't you already played Ocarina of Time?! Go get it! It's on 3DS! -
I'm one of those terrible people who sacrifices form for more reps. If I can do 10 reps with perfect form, I'd rather then bash out 2 more sloppy ones than stop before I'm ready. I don't bench press with a barbell, ever. I find it impossible to do right, and incredibly uncomfortable on my wrists, shoulders and back. On the otherhand, the dumbbell bench press is superior in every way. Not only can you get a better, more comfortable range of motion, but you don't need someone to spot you for heavy sets. I think a spotter for squats is pointless. Just use metal. A spotter for heavy benches with a barbell is mandatory in my opinion, it just gives you the confidence to do that last rep.

Thanks! And, I know, I know. The few times I've played with the music on, it's fantastic and incredibly atmospheric.

Is the hard mode a gear check, or are the mechanics more difficult?

Ok so..

Yeah, I should look for a VoG group, do people still do it?

That's great, I'd really like to avoid a guide, since I've gotten pretty far without one and discovering things and feeling super smart when you do is like 70% of the game's fun. I'll repost again when I get home and actually check, but I've got the gravity suit, I managed to figure the out on my own (which I'm quite proud of). But now I feel like I'm just wandering around with no direction. If it helps, I've beaten recently. I can see another boss on the map, but I'm left with no obvious way to get there. I've tried bombing everything (although there's always the chance I've missed something) to no avail.

Does anyone know of a decent guide for SM? I am stuck. Like, incredibly stuck. I got stuck, went on holiday for 2 weeks and don't remember why I'm stuck, but I am... Every other time I got stuck I would put the game down for a day, come back the next, and figure it out like it was super simple. Bleh! I really want to finish this game.

I want to second Persona 4. While I've not finished, it's clearly a must experience game. I'd also like to nominate Bayonetta (or pretty much any game from Platinum). While I can't play them for more than an hour at a time because they're stressful, they are so incredibly deep that I feel everyone should try them once.

To me that sounds wrong. Why can't I learn by doing rather than being spoon fed information? While playing through Dark Souls (well, any game with grandiose bosses), I die to bosses because I'm not informed beforehand of their tells, or their damage potential. I don't rage quit and say it's bad design. I go back, I figure out what the tells are, how best to deal with each move, and I beat the boss. What you're asking for essentially, is a guide to be in every manual, because not knowing something beforehand makes it bad. No thanks, that sounds awful.

When I was a kid I took a day off school to play Halo 2. Other than that, no, I never take time off work to play a game.

I've hit a road block where I can't past 29 (mats, it's the god damn mats that I refuse to farm), and thus no one will take me for the weekly/nightfall on destinylfg. Bleh. It's like WoW gear score all over again.

I'm not saying the way they do it is right, I'm saying they need to do something. If they end up relying on clichés, they are probably just inexperienced, or following a script because they have to tick boxes. My current boss had an extremely blunt interview style. No bullshit, just direct questions. It was fantastic, but some people find that incredibly off-putting. Can't win 'em all. I wouldn't put it past him to criticise someone directly, but that's less "how do you handle criticism" but more "how do you handle stressful interviews."

No, I'm certainly not. Breaking trust in a relationship is basically the death of it. I'm happy, it just feels odd to me to not to be interested in any one else, as I am usually. I'm just too hung up on what society expects to ever actually be poly.

I guess years of WoW, farming ore made picking up the occasional rock in a game feel completely fine. I just wish I could cancel the animation.

Just squat. It gets better, and while you don't need it, it's really the king of all leg exercises. Replacements (or what I put in on my leg day after squats) include lunges, leg press and box jumps. Leg press is a pretty good way to get better at squatting without actually squatting.

I disagree with the first response, but can't really put into words why. My initial reaction is that many, many infants are said to live for X months, but surpass expectations, and so killing something again with potential for responsibility, would be immoral. The second point is fantastical and not really worth considering. If my auntie had balls, she'd be my uncle, etc. I think I qualified what I meant but it was a while back. Non-human animals have no concern other than to themselves and their progeny. Humans can do so much more. Whether or not they do is kind of irrelevant, since they have the potential to do so. It is nothing to do with breeding. There's also the argument that humans are able to do things against their instincts. I can pick up a bowl of scorching hot soup, not many non-human can do so, at least no non-primates can. Being able to surpass such instincts on a regular basis sets us apart, and makes me feel comfortable with eating and testing on most animals.

Pretty much. Do the strike playlists and get tokens, also do the dailies/weeklies. I really like the DLC strike I've played. It's fucking chaotic!

Oh I know, I was referring to the thousands of other games that provide you with a "grey" item, that you just sell.
