I don't find the camera to be a problem. Always focussing using the shoulder button anyway. I messed around with the Charge Blade at work today. It's pretty fun! I need to craft a good one now. Come on Rathalos Plate! Edit: Oh look. MH4U has me again.

Actually talking about that last night. It was the first one I played, and I thought it was OK, but I was essentially playing for the mechanics since I had no clue about the story. That game is all story. I should really play it again, now I know what's going on.

Yeah, I didn't like that. It felt really weird. Just didn't belong in my opinion. I just loved going from town to town, looking for Ciri and helping people out for money. Being a monster detective is just so awesome.

No EU splatfest this week unfortunately.

For me that seemed to go on forever because I found it so incredibly boring. I kept taking breaks and playing other games, then going back to TW3 because I wanted to finish it. In play time, the 3rd act was about the same as you, probably 10% of the game at most, but it felt like a chore to me. Looking for Ciri was just great though. Everything I love about that game can be found there, I just wish it had ended at Kaer Morhen. I'd have been super excited about it and played it again immediately.

Yeah I've only ever used Skype to call one person before, so I don't know what my username is :s

No worries. My boss kept me late at work to have a long chat with shit loads of tangets. So I'm only leaving now. Maybe more like 18:45 - 19:00 I'll be ready.

I tried it out. I didn't like how the stealth only class has nothing when you start out. The sniper/shield bearer start out with some equipment at least. It was fun, but if I'm going to play a multiplayer game, I'd rather just play Splatoon.

I was going to make a room at around 18:00. I hunted today to see if I can still do it. It's like riding a bike (as long as I have a load of mega potions).

Yeah, I read that. I only got hit by ground fire and nothing popped, so I assumed that description was wrong. I think a lot of the tasks are bugged. One mission you have to extract some containers. I've done it like 3 times and it never popped. I checked online to make sure I was fultoning the correct containers (there are only 4 in the area, I take them all) and I am...but still nothing. Meh, I've still got 12 hours of making a nuke. I'm sure I'll get them all done eventually.

I liked it. Not only did I get the holy shit moment, but it was so long since I played that opening I had forgotten how good it is. It feels like old metal gear. Doing those missions again to get the mission tasks done is boring as hell though. Especially as not letting the man on fire attack is the hardest fucking thing.

Apparently there's some dlc coming out soon. I think I'm going to get it depending on how expensive it is. There's also a 15gig patch. 15gig sounds like a typo to me... I just started NG+ but MGSV is still holding me in. It's a lot harder, but I'd like to go back to the first act because that was by far the best part. I went from adoring the game to finding it kinda boring once I found Ciri. It just doesn't need to be an open world at that point, but going around being a fantasy detective looking for Ciri and monsters fits that open world perfectly.

Sorry for being unreliable. I definitely can do it tonight. Cool huh? Planning video games for a Friday night! Come along dibs the more the merrier. I should really hunt something beforehand, it's been a couple of months since I've played. Twig do you have an XL or regular 3ds? I found the circle pad pro to make my XL horribly bulky. I didn't like it one bit.

I think I have scheduled TV watching with my partner tonight, but I'll see. I think I have 2 ninjasquirrels on PSN. Not sure which one is you.

No where near as efficiently, and only in set places.

Unfortunately work and life got in the way yesterday. My boss was travelling which means constant emails. Hopefully tonight. I'll set up a room and put the number up here.

Mhm, I almost exclusively use D-Dog. Not having to mark things is just too convenient.

With the right equipment and fully decked out Quiet, those missions are a joke. Quiet practically one-shots them, and if you're using the same sniper rifle as her, you can practically one-shot them too. I wish

When you rate a game on 3DS, you're given the option forced to say whether it appeals more to girls or boys. What if it appeals to both? Why do I have to choose? This is a new addition too. It never used to be like that.

I can skype this time since my partner won't be there laughing at me and making stupid noises.

I'd like to have another crack at the Dalamadur tonight. Anyone able to give me a hand?

Yeah you don't need to do those repeat missions, I think you just have to do some side ops and return to motherbase. I'd also recommend you do those harder missions. They're really, really good. Especially the subsistence versions.

I beat two games recently, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater So now I'm officially a Metal Gear fan. Out of the 6 I've played, these 2 are by far the best. Mechanically V is beautiful. It's like like someone designed the perfect game. For 3, it's certainly competent mechanically, enough that I didn't initially hate it like I did 1 and 2. It's fun to play with a few weak points (that healing system ugh). I don't have much more to say on V, I love it. Can't get enough of it. I have a lot to say about 3, but I might type that up in the MGS thread. The only regret I have, is that playing MGS3 on vita, all I could think was how much better it is suited to being on a big tv. It's not a portable game, and it really shows. I'd really like to play through. 3 again because I think hiding under some Kojima weirdness, there's a great game there. I also think it's probably he greatest James Bond film/game ever made. Seriously, getting some crazy 007 vibes from it. Oh and David Hayter is awful. Terrible, terrible voice actor. I prefer a silent Kiefer any day, even if his silent moments are awkward as fuck.

Played a couple of rounds of MGO. It's ok, I really dislike how the infiltrator class starts with nothing. Makes it pretty difficult to stealth. I also dislike that every time I stunned or put someone to sleep to Fulton them, some idiot would shoot them either while I was standing over them or while they were attached to the balloon. I think I could like it, but in the grand scheme of things, I'd rather play the single player or if I was in the mood for multiplayer, Splatoon is just more fun.
