Guys. I just found a MegaMan amiibo at Game.com for £20. I'm still sweating. What have you done to me Nintendo? Also if you want sqidling boy/girl amiibo, there's some in game, if anyone wants one.

It almost definitely won't wrap things up. The manga's only on it's 8th volume and still going. At a guess, it seems likely that they'll have an original anime ending. But I guess it all depends as to the popularity of the anime.

Ouran Boast Club - Planning an Anime Podcast

Only the first episode is free, unless you are a premium member, whereby it's all there. If you want a free guest pass for 48 hours, try one of these: TQFMYN9D9UM N6TVQWVVGLG A634EAQEWXT 8JGLFLQ4UL3 B33B6JW436T also, I've finally gotten round to listening to episode 01. All this talk of sports anime and not one mention of Ping-Pong! It's visually unlike 'normal' anime, and it's story is so charachter driven, they don't even show the final match. Also the opening is superb: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZrm7e6Ly14 The best bit: -
The Business Side of Video (Space) Games EXCLUSIVELY ON IDLE THUMBS
N1njaSquirrel replied to Henroid's topic in Video Gaming
It kinda made sense in Destiny though, given that it is essentially an MMO. I also don't remember hearing many people kicking off about it, but then again I wasn't super tuned into Destiny news. I also don't see how this is a dumb move, but then again I never played the split screen to begin with. I think their line of thinking is that it's added leg work to get it working that they probably didn't have time for, for a smaller pool of people who care about split screen, I guess? -
Yeah, it's a real shame. He had the most insane life though. Apparently his autobiography is incredible. He also has great quotes like this when filming Twin Towers (which I'm sure everyone knows about):

Sure, but they're all video game characters. And usually pretty popular series too. This is a pretty obscure anime from like 5 years ago, and the manga isn't all that popular too. And for Nintendo gave it the go ahead? Definitely strange. Sorry for dragging up a late post, but it just clicked as to why this is weirder than the roster of Smash Bros.

Maybe. I got all my information of it from Sankaku Complex (Warning, Super NSFW), which is always a bad way to read any anime news. -

If it's any consolation, they super recently released an OVA of them at a beach or something. -

The only mecha anime I've seen are EVA and Gargantia. I loved Gargantia. I'm super bummed that they cancelled the second season. T_T -
goddamit I love this game.

Admittedly I've warmed up to Kumiko more over the last 3 episodes. I really didn't like how she'd stress over some minute thing someone said/did, and then it'd be resolved, and then she'd just worry over something else just as irrelevant and pointless. For what felt like the first 5 episodes, that was the main plot line, which was just boring and uninteresting. I honestly don't understand her worries with talking to Reina at the beginning. But then again I'm probably on the minority side of this, it seems to be well recieved.

Yeah that one! I told you I know nothing -
It would be great if the guns were used like in the reporter levels in Hotline Miami 2 - Where you could pick them up, but all he'll do is destroy the gun, so that no-one can use it. I did complete the first mirror's edge without shooting a single person, to get that rare achieve. Although the last level where you had to shoot the servers was bullshit. Well I'm super excited.

The only bit of knowledge I know about DBZ is that Toriyama intended the series to end after the Frieza arc, but due to the insane popularity of the series, he was forced to knock out another arc. -
Reina is definitely the best character in the whole show. I can't stand the rest of the main 4. Especially Sapphire/Midori. She can moe the fuck off. I never got so good at trumpet that I played any main parts, partly because half way through the school year I got braces and couldn't play, so I swapped to Euphonium. I prefer the trumpet though.

GAME in England recently re-stocked Ness and it went in like 10 minuets. There's already been news articles stating a restock of these figures. Don't succumb to the scalpers and wait!

I always put journey in the same light as SotC. As well as child of Eden. (Even though it's no where near as good as rez)

What's the code?

I'm all ready guys! I've added Griddle and dibs. Yasawas, I can't find your friend code. Mind reposting?

Sorry, 3 for kill, 2 for capture. I'm pretty sure you can increase your carve number using Feyline Carver, which you get as a food buff.
-
Mounting is definitely encouraged. In general, when you topple an enemy, if you have a heavy-hitting weapon (horns, great swords, hammers, switch axe), you go to the head, whilst lighter weapons (Kinsect Glaive, dual blades, lances) go to the tail, to ensure that people don't get stun-locked by other players hitting them, and to utilise the most of their weapons. Blunt weapons don't deal as much break damage as other weapons, so it's best if they focus on the head, where they're more likely to inflict stun/KO damage, whilst the sharper weapons cut off tails. I used to only do capture too, until I found out that you get less drops from capture. You can carve 4+ times when you kill it (more if you get feyline Carver), but you only get 3 items for a capture. Now I only capture if it's a quest or if I'm wanting a particular drop.

We can blast through the key quests real quick. The only choke-hold will be the urgent quests for levelling hunter ranks, as the only person who levels up is the person who took the quest, meaning that we'll have to do it at most 3 times. Which is fine for most of the fights, as it still remains interesting, but by jove am I fed up with the Dah'ren Mohran by now. Out of all the monsters, the Dah'ren Mohran is the only one where it feels like a real chore fighting him, as it's all so predictable. Hunter Rank 63 baby!

Dark Souls 3 {Dark souls 2 successor [Dark Souls successor (Demon's Souls successor)]} (Bloodborne's something)
N1njaSquirrel replied to kaputt's topic in Video Gaming
As much as I love Dark Souls, I feel that a 3rd one won't do good for the series. Even with Miyazaki back at the helm, I don't know what's left of the dark-fantasy setting stones that's left unturned. Basically I worry that after the pure delight that is Bloodborne, going back to the Dark Souls series will ebb the creativity that was in Bloodborne. Dark Souls and Bloodborne were great because they felt new and different. Dark Souls 3 already has set expectations as to it's setting and themes, which already hinders a creative team into thinking a set way, and will suffer for it. Diminishing returns, basically.
