  1. Tone Control 7: Brendon Chung!

Anyone having trouble hearing Brendon in this ep? I usually listen to podcasts in the car, but the road noise is basically cancelling out half of what Brendon says. I've listened to many of the Tone Control podcasts and this is the first I've had an issue with.
  2. Hahahrawrrahaha

Haha I don't post here often, but I came to post this too, thought the Thumbs dudes would get a kick out of this.
  3. BioShock Infinite

Ken Levine as already said as such: "She is very much Elizabeth, but also has a character. She's affected. She's definitely changed by what she's done. I will say certainly you are picking up after the events of Infinite, and this is a person who has seen all the things you've seen in Infinite, and that’s had an effect on her." I don't know that I agree with your assertion that they've amped up the sexualization of Elizabeth. Seems like Elizabeth + noir to me.
  4. PS Vita

What the hell did I just watch? And why is my bank account short $3?
  5. Gone Home from The Fullbright Company

Sorry if this has been answered in the thread but is Gone Home coming to Steam? I don't see it on there or Greenlight.
  6. Tomb Raider

Yeah I thought the collecting was really well done in this game and I liked all the relics and whatnot you find, but love that it is not impossible to find everything like it is in Uncharted. Really ... if this game had had Uncharted's writers, it would have been insanely good.
  7. I think this looks great, but now that they have funding I'm not gonna back it. I'll wait and see how things look once it comes out. I'm not one that was disappointed by the Syndicate reboot, it's actually a fantastic game in the multiplayer co-op, typical awesome Starbreeze from what I've played of their stuff.
  8. Tomb Raider

I can see if you didn't like Uncharted you wouldn't care for this game. I loved Uncharted and thought that this was more of that but WAY better combat. I loved all the finishing moves and scrappy combat with the axe and flinging dirt in faces, etc. I wanted more environmental puzzles like what the Tombs offered, but can understand the design choice to make those optional. I've loved every Tomb Raider game to some degree (except for Angel of Darkness) and thought that Crystal Dynamics did an excellent job ever since they picked it up. I can't wait for a sequel, but I'd rather they do a new Legacy of Kain game personally.
  9. New people: Read this, say hi.

No worries, it's not like you were an asshole about it. I'll go respond to you in that thread.
  10. Nintendo 3DS

Shin Megami Tensei IV is very addictive and awesome Code of Princess seems like a competent side-scrolling beat 'em up from what I've played so far Castlevania: LoS: Mirror of Fate loved this, it's old Castlevania 2D meets the new LoS game. A tad short. I've heard good things about the following and will be trying soon: PushMo, Gunman Clive, Shantae: Risky's Revenge, Mighty Switch Force!
  11. Tomb Raider

Hmm... I didn't see many randomly spawning enemies in my playthrough. I had to go back to several areas and find people just in an attempt to get some of the achievements. I gave up after a while. Otherwise enjoying the game? One of my favorites this year so far. EDIT: I read back a page, nm.

Hi! Idle Thumbs is one of the only podcasts I listen too and thought I'd come over here and see what's going down. I don't normally use forums that much, my main one is Racketboy.com, which is retro focused. Happy to be here and hopefully contribute to the discussion.
