I just played a game a few weeks ago. The patches up to this point have improved a lot of things about diplomacy and the early game, mid-game is still a bit of a slog. I'm looking forward to 1.3.

I can tell you I started to ruin my Video Game hobby by keeping track of how many games I've beaten and judging different games on what it means to complete them.

Oh yeah, I look at the money we're burning on rent sometimes and cringe, but then my whole townhouse complex had to replace the plumbing from the ground up, so not having to pay for that is nice (at least not immediately, I'm sure our rent will go up again next year.) There has been an undercurrent of various health issues about her going on for some time now. I've heard various claims including cancer, drunken binging, and heart condition. It was being made an issue even before this pneumonia thing, even if it was ridiculous. Transparency is a theme in the US right now, whether it be No Man's Sky, Gamer Gate, or the CIA. Tying the two together doesn't seem like that big of a step.I mean this same argument has been going on about Birth Certificates and Tax records and such for at least the last two election cycles.

Hmm, I've been struggling keeping the council power as low as possible without actually looking at the consequences, so I've been fighting those wars. On the other hand, I don't fiddle with levies and taxes much, so the only time I've really needed a lot of favors was to change succession law and a few other fiddly things like that. I also wasn't a top level liege until fairly recently, so there haven't really been opportunities for full-on "overthrow the ruler" type wars either. I guess I'm just in the best situation to showcase the good parts of it and downplay the bad.

I wonder how bad the PS3 version will be, and I wonder how much of the story will be ruined by the Japan release.

I bought everything except Reaper's Due and used Gormongous's recommended settings and had a blast. While the favor thing did feel mostly useless, I didn't hate the council stuff really? It added an additional mechanic that seemed to destabilize the larger realms and make it a little more complicated to stay on top. This play through was the first in a long time that I've not been able to keep my chosen heir on top of the elective monarchy list, so I had to make some compromises here and there and that felt right. I started as a Duke in Middle Francia and had a shot to either get a second duchy or be elected the King several times. Then suddenly, when I'm not paying attention anymore the Empire of Francia was formed and then dumped in my lap via elective monarchy. Yay!

I got it for my PS3 to watch the Olympics. My PS3 has weird problems staying connected to PSN. My XB1 doesn't have this problem and, while we do have more hiccups than I'd like in Comcast service, everything else continues to work fine while PSN chokes. As for Vue itself, the interface is abysmally slow, but the actual video quality is excellent. It also has DVR capabilities as long as you select the shows you want before they run. I'm considering keeping it for Football season.

When's the last time they did a save reset? I got a fair way into building a base about 6 months ago and I loved it.
