The only DF game that I've genuinely loved with no caveats was Broken Age. Everything else I've loved the aesthetics and charm of, but not the gameplay. I'm glad that they do what they do though. They're like Wayforward that way.

I re-listened to it. They never use the word Gamergate, identify anyone involved as anything other than "game developers," or mention how deeply misogynistic GG is. It's possibly the weakest possible denunciation they could have made.

I recognize Klonoa, Sparkster from Rocket Knight, the wanderer from Journey, Ico, the kid from Limbo, the Amazon from Dragon's Crown, Balrog from Cave Story, what looks like the SOTN Alucard, Rue from Threads of Fate, Asha and Pepelogoo from Monster World IV, and an E-tank from Mega Man. A few others are familiar, but I can't quite place them.

The demo is out in Japan, and new Megas for Glalie and Steelix have already been revealed. Glalie gets Refrigerate and Steelix gets Sand Force.
