I've never cared much for Shell Armor, but Contrary and Reckless are both great abilities for their respective Pokémon (dat Wild Charge/Head Smash/Flare Blitz/Take Down Emboar). I'm up to 8723 Combees hatched and STILL have nothing to show for it.

If I recall correctly, the little dot next to the inner camera is an infrared light meant for just that.

I love that Battletoads was marketed in Japan as the game that everyone in America found too difficult (and was actually an easier version of the game). Also, anyone ever see the cartoon pilot they made? It's bad, but not nearly as awful as something like the Bubsy Bobcat pilot. All the shows I mentioned above have been pretty popular, particularly among girls, but it's difficult to gauge just how big they got because most of their audience preferred to watch them online instead of on network television. This is pretty much the crux of it. Creators are at the mercy of an outdated (not to mention inherently flawed) system and marketers who don't know how to do their jobs.

The reason they can get away with it is because most games have a tremendous drop in sales after a few weeks, but people will keep buying a new Mario Kart or Pokémon for that console's entire lifespan.

On a scale from 1 to "goddamnit Nintendo," how screwed do we expect the people who won't manage to get in on the Mewtwo DLC for Smash Bros. before the service goes down to be?

Cartoon Network announced that Steven Universe is no longer going to be airing repeats, which is generally what they do when they want to throw something under the bus. Hearkening back to earlier situations like Young Justice and Sym-Bionic Titan, it seems like Cartoon Network is really poorly managed. They keep producing content that nabs an audience, but because the audience doesn't fit the very narrow demographic of "boys age 7-12 watching it on network television and wanting to buy toys afterward," they just try to shove it off the air instead of finding a way to capitalize on the audience they've got.

Someone should make a Youtube channel where their character's shtick is that they review games and always decide they they "aren't a game" due to increasingly arbitrary standards, like deciding that Half-Life isn't a game because there are no scores or levels.
