  1. Really didn't appreciate that spoiler d L c at least provide some sort of warning for it. I think the show has really found its footing or at least a style to go on, I am definitely on board with Ani and Rey not trying to ruin each other for the whole series.
  2. Unreal Engine 4 Thread

After watching your video I'm very sad UE4 doesn't allow you to edit BSP the way hammer does, that would make blocking out maps so much quicker and more fun too.
  3. Unreal Engine 4 Thread

Anyone know where I can get some decent beginner tutorials for Maya 2014? Youtube isn't really giving me any great results.
  4. Found a video of someone finding the same area, It was quite a bit of time but I went in without any intentions other then seeing if it was possible, I had no idea what to expect. I think I'm gonna tinker around in some other games now and see if I can find anything similar
  5. Back when Aion first launched there was a city that floated in the sky and a friend and I flew off it and scaled a mountain that lead to an unfinished area on the floor below, there was half built houses and some that were just billboards, but there was also an NPC down there that you could speak to. You could set the autorun and just go across this green plain for about 30 minutes before it would just drop off into nothing and allow you to fall for about 45 seconds before killing your character.
  6. Unreal Engine 4 Thread

Question for you guys when building interiors for homes are the floors usually static meshes or just BSP? I'm looking for best practices from going from the blocking out phase to a more realized state.
  7. Unreal Engine 4 Thread

Oh man, first time playing with UDK since a 3.0 version and man is it so much easier, I left it for a while to try out Unity but I think I'm going to come back to this for the blueprints and the BSP stuff.
  8. Unreal Engine 4 Thread

I thought you had to rebuild the lighting maps to see the effect of it on new BSP you drop in?
  9. Terminal7 3: Burning the Box

This podcast is great, I listened to the first three episodes of it before having ever played the game myself and became hooked. Since then I've been playing a lot on OCTGN and I'm loving the game, I completely understand what you mean when you say the complexity of the game opens up to you after a couple of rounds. P.S. - Sweet choice of intro song with the Neotokyo OST.
  10. Dota Today 2: The Lord's Pitch

Still, I've played plenty of games where well before the 20 minute mark someone goes, "This game is over, surrender at 20." and just dicks around for the rest of the time.
  11. Haha that gif is surprisingly similar, Captain Kidd is nowhere near as good a name as Kunkka though.
  12. I think the surrender option is a bad idea it leads to too many undesirable scenarios I believe. In league of legends I've been in many games where at the 20 minute mark players immediately hit the surrender button. Occasionally not all the players agree with this idea and it leads to constant bickering and insults between players. Plenty of times I've seen these games turn around. I don't know if the benefits outweigh the penalties
  13. Dota Today 2: The Lord's Pitch

At my level the odds of finding four other people who speak english seem to not be very good. It makes it really difficult to figure out what anyone is doing or communicate at all much less convince them to all leave.
  14. Dota Today 2: The Lord's Pitch

Awesome, I can definitely stand it and look forward to hearing it. Great cast so far, I just got into Dota myself so im slowly grasping what you all are talking about.
  15. Dota Today 2: The Lord's Pitch

Just curious because I don't remember hearing/reading it, but any concrete idea of how often you guys are going to do the cast?
