PROTIP: there are two ways to Friend people. The first way is to go to "Register Friend" on the Friends List itself and type in their name, but they won't be notified that you're trying to add them. The second is to send them a friend request through Miiverse, which you can do by going to "User Menu" > "Search Users" > type their exact name > "Friend Request."

I really want to. I keep trying to justify it with the fact that our cat chewed through the cable for my Wii's sensor bar, so instead of buying a new sensor bar, I should just buy a Wii U since it comes with one. Unfortunately subbes keeps talking sense into me.

Justify it by using it to replace the Wii altogether. The Wii U does some basic upscaling, so it's really my favourite way to enjoy Wii games now. As long as you don't mind losing Gamecube support, it's ideal.

Well, apparently the sales just spiked for reasons still being argued over.

I can tell you that in my case it was because I had been waiting to see what Sony and Microsoft had coming up that looked interesting, and that turned out to be absolutely nothing.
