ThunderPeel2001 Posted September 16, 2011 Every time I hear him trying to push for something cool (equal pay for women, consumer rights, better healthcare) he seems to back down and compromise. I realise that he doesn't have much choice at the moment, given his situation, but Bush managed to send the whole country to war with a "fuck you, I know you don't like it, but it's for the best, so shut the fuck up" attitude. Obama could use more of that attitude, or he could have used it before the democrats lost control. I remember when we had the fuel strikes here in the UK. Everyone was so pissed at the high cost of petrol, but Blair used the same attitude: "I don't care that you think it's so high. Get back to your jobs and stop complaining.
