ThunderPeel2001 Posted February 19, 2009 Just thought I'd give a heads up to any Dave Gilbert fans out there... His first "professionally made" game is released today... Emerald City Confidential I'm definitely going to play this at some point, I've loved his previous stuff.
ysbreker Posted February 20, 2009 Can someone help me jog my memory, where should I know Dave Gilbert from?

nonamermcgee Posted February 21, 2009 Got the demo, just need to try it. Unfortunately it's game developer beer night here in town, and this weekend is looking like DOW2 time.

Tanukitsune Posted February 25, 2009 The story just kept going, I expected the game to be only a few hours long, but it's longer than some "full" adventure games! I love it! A few things did bother me... -The story stops being a detective story halfway through the game to become a quest to save the kingdom. -You have to free the four witches from a magic staff to continue, but after you free two the game acts like you already freed the other two... They mention that the four witch are no longer in the staff even! -Emotionless faces when talking...

OssK Posted February 27, 2009 Right about that one you were, it's quite awesome, although I'm not really impressed by the animations and never really found myself looking for anything or thinking really hard, but hey, super game, loved it !
