n0wak Posted January 13, 2009 You should check out nouvelle vague. You'll love them. Also: Hollywood, Mon Amour. Which is essentially Nouvelle Vague, with with bonus 80s soundtrack cheese. It's awesome. And does this count? http://www.biglionmusic.com/music/arrangements/other-arrangements/thriller-vrc6-cover
Sergey Posted January 13, 2009 I heard an "electropop" Can't Buy Me Love and nearly threw up.
Marek Posted January 13, 2009 BTW I completely shat my pants when I listened to the original of ELO "Here Is The News" as the first 20 seconds or so of that song are also a highly emblematic theme used in a bunch of TV bumpers/leaders of a Dutch broadcaster when I was younger. It was utterly bizarre to hear that bit followed by a beat kicking in and hearing an entire song attached. This is how I remember that shit: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=N5IY7TvdTXs&feature=related And there was a mexican version as well apparently: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=nXD3g_9tyxI&feature=related
