Wrestlevania Posted November 30, 2008 Pixellated physics-based Worms-alike PC shooter Cortex Command is going for half price until midnight tonight; which is to say you can snaffle this nifty indie game up for a shade over $9/£7. I've been helping to test the game, on and off, since it went into alpha many, many moons ago and it's a brilliant turn-based shooter. If you like good old fashioned, honest-to-goodness, "very PC" games (like Worms) then definitely take a punt on this one.
elmuerte Posted November 30, 2008 I tried it a while ago. Amazing piece of work, but I didn't like it a lot. Controls were just quite annoying, and the buying menu thingy was also awful. So in short, didn't enjoy playing it.
Wrestlevania Posted November 30, 2008 How long ago? I didn't enjoy the controls or menu systems in the earlier releases. But the recent revisions are leaps ahead of where it started out (as they should be). I'd say it's probably much more fun now since you last played it. elmuerte Posted November 30, 2008 I think it was 2 weeks ago. Shortly after RPS covered it.
