nsps Posted September 12, 2007 Has anyone played this Mercury Meltdown Revolution game for the Wii, or any of its previous incarnations (Archer Macleans Mercury for the PSP)? I just learned of it, as it will soon be released in the US for a mere $20, but looks like it came out in the UK several months ago. Roderick Posted September 12, 2007 It's pretty good. It's a lot more 'deep' than Kororinpa, because you often have to control two or more blobs and paint them in different colours. The visuals are a bit gaudy, but that shouldn't matter. Of course, the game doesn't have the same rich personality as a Monkey Ball, but for a budget price it's pretty nice. n0wak Posted September 13, 2007 I definitely want to pick it up. I played it on the PSP for a while and enjoyed it quite a bit. It was quite a good sequel, if you ask me. The original had a good premise but the execution left a lot to be desired. It was a first gen PSP game and it had THE WORST load times. Anyway, yeah. The puzzles are fairly varied and interesting. There's lots of them and it doesn't take a lot of time to do each so it's a perfect pick up and play game. Can't comment on how well the controls have translated to the Wii though.
