Wrestlevania Posted May 9, 2007 Amazon UK are now selling the "Premium" pack for just shy of £250 delivered. As a bonus, you can add Gears of War and Crackdown for just £15 extra!
Roderick Posted May 9, 2007 That's a really good price, especially with the games. But with the shipping costs to the Netherlands it'll be a tad more expensive. If I wait for the shops to sell the Premium for 300 Euros it'll be the same price.
Thrik Posted May 9, 2007 I spotted this last week and was extremely close to ordering it; however, I had a look at the games available for the various systems and decided to go with the PC upgrade for the time being as there're more games that I find appealing doing the rounds at the moment. Amazon do tend to have really good 360 deals though. When I was interested in one some months back they had some mental deal where you buy a premium console and get like five games of your choice for £25. If you want a 360, Amazon is clearly the place to go first.
Wrestlevania Posted May 9, 2007 If you want a 360, Amazon is clearly the place to go first. Gamestation also have some excellent value Xbox 360 combos, if you prefer a more traditional/immediate purchase (and some usually-decent games banter whilst forking over your cash). You can order them online too, but you have to pay for postage. Plus the in-store deals come out a few days before the appear on the website, so it's worth wandering into your local shop before buying online. Still, that Amazon UK deal is superb. twmac Posted May 10, 2007 Agreed about the banter at Gamestation, it is weird how for some reason the people in there seem to get hired on the basis that they have an oppinion on games. I miss that shop, in canada it just isn't the same, maybe its because they just aren't as oppinionated (adn by that I mean geared by sales). I used to think EB GAmes were alright, but then they caused me grief.
