Happiness is... $41.92

I just replaced the heatsink on my videocard and it runs below 65°C instead of the usual 90°C~100°C under maximum load. No more mr. crashies or mrs. glitches.

If you have an Nvidia 6600GT (AGP) and experience strange problems, you may wanna do the same. Apparently a lot of 6600GTs don't have proper cooling.

Do you know how I keep my machine nice and cool in the extreme moments of high computation? I call it mr. blow.

I take off the sides of my machine and park the fan on one end. It is a cheap ass sollution and it works amazingly well.

Oh yeah, I tried everything, but nothing else really helped. The heatsink was cold to the touch, even when rivatuner was reporting +90°C. It's definite sign that the heatsink was not making proper contact with the GPU.
