miffy495 Posted July 28, 2005 I just got myself a new PCI-E card, but I really don't know the difference between the two in terms of pros/cons. Anyone care to explain to a poor, inexperienced-but-making-an-effort-to-learn tech dweeb?
ysbreker Posted July 28, 2005 PCI-express is the follow up of AGP and PCI. PCI_express is generally faster than AGP or PCI. It can pump data around much faster and you can have more than one PCI-express slot on your motherboard. More info here
