Tanukitsune Posted May 11, 2005 Game has bought/fused with Centro Mail, the only game store franchise in Spain. At first, it was just a small link, a parternship, and now the site is exactly the same as Game.net, but in Spanish. I went to one of their stores, and you can already notice the changes, I already have a Game client card, which they CHARGED me for! Where is Game.net from? The UK? Can someone tell me a bit more about them?
Dingo Chavez Posted May 11, 2005 If they'll make a version of the site with ancient hebrew I'll be impressed. Huzza for Spain and other spanish speaking counties.
RLacey Posted May 13, 2005 Where is Game.net from? The UK? Can someone tell me a bit more about them? They're a UK-based games store that was at one point merged with Electronics Boutique before Game Group PLC bought the company out from EB. I think.
Tanukitsune Posted May 13, 2005 So, Game is a part of EB, and therefore, Centro Mail is a part of EB?
RLacey Posted May 13, 2005 So, Game is a part of EB, and therefore, Centro Mail is a part of EB? No. Game Group bought Game.net from EB. EB no longer have any presence in the UK, and do not own Game.net. More information at www.gamegroup.plc.uk. It appears that they have owned your beloved game shops since 2001, though.
