Mr Manager Posted May 17, 2004 (I bet nobody else remembers this game)http://www.mobygames.com/game/sheet/p,19/gameId,9379/ Oh yeah, I remember that. Amiga Power or some other random Amiga mag got a complete hard-on from the game and named it one of the best ever. Never had the chance to play it myself. Kolzig Posted May 17, 2004 I had that game on my Amiga, I played it a lot, but because the game was a copied version, I had no real idea what to do in the game, it was intriguing though...
ThunderPeel2001 Posted May 18, 2004 Cool! It was a great game, but it really required you to pay attention and become "involved" in what was going on, and that meant reading the manual until you learnt the controls! I truly think it's the smoothest, most coherent mixture of action/adventure in a game ever. No levels, no lives, no really stupid puzzles, no impossibly hard joystick manouvering... and yet fiendishly difficult all the same!
Jayel Posted May 18, 2004 No levels? how did that work? like Half-Life? Sounds interesting. I should try it out someday. when it comes to pure action side scroller, nothing beats Abuse.
ragnar Posted May 20, 2004 I thought you meant this game which also is called Exile. A most excellent RPG.
ThunderPeel2001 Posted May 20, 2004 Naw, I mean the spacey one from 1990. Looking very dated here: http://www.mobygames.com/game/shots/p,19/gameId,9379/ Desperately in need of a cool remake. Possible the GBA could be a good platform... you'd certainly get your money's worth!
