The projector I use was the first decent one to be under $1,000 ($900-something at the time, conveniently dropping to $800 a month or two after I bought it. Of course.) The quality is really good, but it isn't really great. Considering, I simply can't imagine a projector priced at $16.95 being anything but a piece of crap. What you get is two plastic lenses whichs you place at either end of some contraption you have to build yourself (some kind of box) then put on your monitor... In theory it makes the image verrry big - but it would be totally out of focus and very dark - as the brightness on your standard monitor is not build to project.... so it's crap....
