Skeletor68 Posted June 24, 2015 Hey guys. Don't post here enough but thought some of you might be interested. I attended the iDIG festival (Internation Dublin Gaming Music Festival) here in Dublin earlier this year. Had a fantastic time listening to Russell Brower, Christopher Tin, Neal Acree and Eimear Noone. There was also a seriously powerful performance of video game music by the DIT Trad ensemble, particularly of the Zelda themes. Eimear Noone conducted their live performance so very close to her. Anyways, check out some of the shoddy recordings here for badass uilleann pipes. You may also be interested in a Kickstarter for a recorded CD. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/songsofzelda/eimear-noone-presents-songs-of-zelda-a-link-to-the Cheers friends! Merus Posted June 25, 2015 The Clock Town performance is so good I want an Irish festival in the next Zelda with the Clock Town music.
dartmonkey Posted June 25, 2015 Yep, nice segue from Song of Storms. The Wind Waker theme and Hyrule Castle Market are standouts too.
Merus Posted June 25, 2015 Somehow they managed to find a way to take the Wind Waker theme and make it even more Celtic.
syntheticgerbil Posted June 25, 2015 I'm glad they are paying the property royalty fees. That's a lot more than a lot of fan projects do these days.
