  1. Oh, duh. Of course it's part of a youtube URL. heh, sorry for missing, and thus forcing everyone, to point out the obvious. edit: Also that video is pretty great.
  2. This is the string read in slowmo in the dateline: v=JPT1Up8WIHE What the ding dong is this all about? It reminded me of a PHP variable passed via URL, so I tried appending it to the end of the URL for idlethumbs.net, but just got 404s. Seems like some kind of hash?
  3. Roguelikes

Is Hack Slash Loot good? I love roguelikes but I was put off by the very generic title and the very-overused tigsource sprites. It all just seemed a little too on-the-nose. Always looking for new roguelikes though, so maybe I'll give it a shot?
  4. Torchlight II

You might be on to something. My survivability has dropped farther and farther it seems the more points I put into that skill. I thought it was just a bad build vs. ever increasing difficulty, but yeah, the amount of damage spikes I get is through the roof now after 12 points in that skill, and I can't seem to ever have enough armor / resistances.
  5. Tom Hall and Brenda Brathwaite kicking old school rpg

Man I hope so. I was confused and put off by such a generic pitch from such a creative duo. Love both of those two and I would love something meaty from them, but uh yeah... really? "Old School RPG?" On Kickstarter? How many of those have I backed now? If it's not an explicit parody, it's an implicit one.
  6. New Forums! Post feedback, notes, etc here

Thanks to the ever-hard-working Doug Tabacco for fixing my account that apparently got eaten with the garbage collection of old accounts. It must have wandered into the dark and been eaten by a grue. I will endeavor to keep my account grue-free from now on.
