Tropic 3 & 4 are the same game with a few extra frills. 4 does not solve 3s problem of being impossible to lose without some serious effort, nor does it solve the general repetitiveness of 3s building.

So, Lanaya is pretty great.

1: No more so than the usual quest chaining. 2: Very! The voice acting is great, the writing, from skill names to dialogue all is fantastic, you keep finding cool things every time you leave a hub. It is a static world however. 3: Not nearly as much as you might think, but loot is still a thing. You won't be barred from doing a dungeon by some sanctimonious prick for not having the perfect items though. Clothes are entirely cosmetic, talismans and weapons are the actual gear. Addendum: It is still probably not worth the money. They removed the open PvP in White Sands Isle a while back. I retired my hunter that I kept specifically in White Sands for almost two years, a sad day. They also removed it in the area under the palace, but that wasn't the place for "cool kids" to PvP in Tortage anyway. The quest gap has been wholly fixed by updates now, but I ran into it back at launch.

PSA: If you want to buy something and it is not on special/front-page sale, wait until the last day. It is a cosmic law that anything you buy on normal discount will go on the front page the next day.

Oh that's right, in vanilla smelting cobble just turns it into regular stone. There's that plan out the window. Technic allows cobble -> sand -> glass | V 1:1 sandstone I'd hardly call lava scarce though.

Generate cobble, smelt into glass, run the furnace on lava buckets.

To be fair, Jerry and Mike make a living on being crass and occasionally insightful. Like you said, it's probably just because Kickstarter is a thing with a lot of press right now. As for mocking PA's supporters... Don't visit their forums. Most of it, at least.

My big problem with trading with random people is that a lot of people out there will rant and rave about "Trade uncommons for uncommons!" but are happy to fleece people. Basically the entire TF2/DotA economy is wacky.

As odd as this is, you seem to have so easily forgotten Your World. E: Or the other MMO Kickstarter with a shitty tech demo that plans to be released as a box + subscription game... in 2016.

I think there are already a couple frequented Mumble servers, we'd just have to standardize which one to use.
