Some further clarification on that list: I think the version JonCole posted was edited by Sean himself, namely the paragraph at the top. The original image was of course warning people to stay away from the list rather than encouraging support. Also it's very strange that Danielle isn't on the list. And Adam Sessler isn't even a journalist anymore, though he does belong with this group.

Those are basically the reasons I kept using my current avatar even though it's not Christmas. The other reason is I refuse to use any avatar that isn't Tegan made or approved.

I'm really glad these lists exist. Not only are they an excellent example of how completely ridiculous "their side" is, it's also starting to become a curated list of people to respect and follow. It's like they're doing all the work for me. I really hate the game where we label people and use that label to define them, but is there a name for the collective anti-SJWs?

You could probably use this thread. It's sort of a catch all for computer stuff. I have no help for Ben sadly.

Me as well. In fact at this point I'd say the people I'm currently the best friends with are ones I've never met in real life. It mostly has to do with the fact that I'm not interested in the things most people I'm physically around are, nor are they interested in what I am.

You don't have to put up an exact recipe if it's a secret or something. I'm mostly looking for a good base that I can tweak in my own way.
-
Do you make your own rub? I'm looking for a good rub recipe I can play around with. Also a good steak rub.

The funniest thing to me about the "cherry picking" argument is that I've seen a lot of people call her a liar and a fraud using only the way she portrays the Hitman games as evidence. They're taking a single example, which may or may not even be true, and using it as the basis to attack her. They are doing the exact thing they accuse her of.

Wow, I didn't even notice. Good catch.

Olly tweeted out that link himself so it seems like he's ok with it.

I linked to that article earlier but I think my post got buried pretty quickly because this thread is so active. I'm going to repeat this part from the article because its similar a previous post I made

That's sort of the reason my account hasn't been deleted yet. It's a theoretical way for people I knew at some point in time to contact me, but so far no one's done that and I wonder a lot if I should just go ahead and get rid of the thing.

I technically have a Facebook account. I don't think I've touched it in years.

The thing is, I want more companies on that list. I want people to try and boycott them for the dumbest possible reasons because maybe if enough of these assholes stop buying games the demographics will shift and the big developers will make fewer terrible things because their audience has changed. I don't think either of those will ever happen but I can dream.

Olly Moss is probably the best

I just saw that too. My mind is blown.

I was literally in the middle of typing something along the lines of "it's like worrying you left the stove on while your house is on fire" when I saw your post go up and you basically said everything I was going to. One of these days I'm going to say a smart thing before you can beat me to it Gormongous. Assuming I ever say anything smart. My pointless whining aside, I agree with Gormongous and Tegan and probably others I didn't fully read. In actual contributions, here's yet another article talking about it. In particular I want to highlight this part because it's something I said earlier in this thread

I'm actually relatively in the dark about the Tim Schafer part, but to hear that people are somehow surprised that he'd support Sarkeesian is kind of baffling. If you look at Broken Age alone, half the story is about a girl who's trying to change a society where women are literal sacrifices and the other half is about a boy who gets tired of playing with toys and learns to grow up.

Tomb Raider (digital download) is on sale this week at Newegg for $4.99

The first time I saw this game was at PAX and that's only because the Capy booth was right next to the Double Fine booth that year. I was initially not impressed, but I didn't even know about the time mechanic and thought it was just a platforming shooter. After watching some videos, I'm actually really interested now and have been waiting for it to come to Steam. The combination of the time mechanic and the variety of characters looks like there's a pretty wide possibility space that I'd like to play around with. I'm a little strapped for cash at the moment but I plan to pick it up when I can.

Actually the Razer keypads are really good for games like Torchlight. I remember Torchlight 1 didn't let you rebind keys so it was very convenient to be able to make a custom keymap and I just carried over the same keymap to Torchlight 2.

I'm assuming you mean Super Time Force from Capy in which case no, I don't think so. I almost created one the other day but then I forgot.

If I weren't at work I'd insert the clip from Dexter's Lab where he tries to learn French in his sleep but the record loops and all he can say the next day is "omelette du fromage". I'll probably edit this post when I get home.
