    I enjoyed both the sense of momentum on a good run and the puzzle solving aspect of trying to MAKE it a good run. Experimenting for ten minutes before executing the perfect succession of moves in thirty seconds to knock out this guy then that guy then run up that wall and knock out this other guy wizz bam WOW it was just so much fun. AHHHHHHHHHH I love Mirror's Edge it is the perfect game. I'm going to reinstall it tonight. O:

    PoP 2008 was fantastic in all the ways. But it was largely derided, as far as I know, and not for the main character.

    I've yet to fire a single bullet in Mirror's Edge ever (except that one you have to for some dumb reason), and I think the guns are great! I hope every level has at least seven thousand enemies with guns! More, even! WAY MORE!!

    I didn't like it either, but it worked because I literally did the exact same thing. Hell, I still do. U: I think she's a very well-realized character, which also means she's flawed. And I think that's good! At least she's not one-dimensional. (She's two!!!)

    Yeah I don't like Midori, really. Dunno why you hate Kumiko, though. She strikes me as very human. Maybe because she's almost exactly like I was in school (ignoring the whole "Japanese school girl" thing), in that I didn't talk much, and I was always worried about shit, and etc. She's probably the most empathy-worthy character on the show for me.

    Latest episode reminds me of when I was given first chair (as trumpet!), which meant i'd be playing all the solos, and I turned it down because I was too scared, and the band director had no choice but to give it to someone else, who we all knew was worse than me. Not to toot my own horn (EHEHEHEHE) or anything. But he was willing to do the solos, so I guess he was better in the end. ): God I'm the worst. Reina is my hero! I so badly wish I'd stuck with playing trumpet.
