  1. If it is real, it's not final.
  2. The Witness by Jonathan Blow

Haha yeah I kinda gave up on the + puzzles. Maybe I'll get back to it when I just wanna relax in a pretty environment, but I feel no inclination to do everything. My time with The Witness was by and large one of the best video gaming experiences I've had. No need to ruin it by being an obsessive completionist!
  3. The Next President

so i heard there's gonna be a presidential election in about 7 and a half months????
  4. The Next President

You're right, black people saying it bothered them is completely beside the point. FFS I like Bernie and you're making me want to hate him.
  5. The Next President

lol LITERALLY the first result on google search result for bernie sanders ghetto http://www.msnbc.com/msnbc/bernie-sanders-ghetto-gaffe-highlights-campaigns-struggle-race there i did the hard work for you
  6. The Next President

Piping in to voice a similar position as Gorm's. Literally nobody here is saying Hillary is perfect - the only thing that's happened are some people saying they support her over Bernie for various reasons - and you react to every single thing people have to say to you as if everybody's hard on her side and thinks she can do no wrong. You're allowed to disagree with people without coming off as such a hardass.
  7. The Next President

To be completely frank, I don't feel like building a list, and I feel no desire to try to convince you. You'll just have to take my word for it. Or not. The one example I've got off the top of my head is when he carelessly dropped the word "ghetto".
  8. The Next President

    Fairly often, actually.
  9. The Next President

In the same post you're quoting, Lansbury went on to describe a perspective from which ACA is a really good thing...
  10. Life

That's only if you're plugged into the local DARKESTNET hub. The DARKNET is actually a government-run service, and they don't offer hitmen, so you gotta go even darker.
  11. Life

That's uh, I guess you could believe that's going to happen. Seems... really unlikely.

Oh the bionic eyes would also let you zoom in and ENHANCE and also enable cyberpunk overlays and stuff. ...Eventually, anyway. Getting them JUST to fix vision would be really overkill for me, too. I can survive without glasses pretty solidly as is! They just make it easier to read things farther away.
  13. Movie/TV recommendations

I saw Zootopia last night and oh my gosh that's my favorite Disney movie in a long long time. I liked it so very much. D:
  14. Life

I got glasses for the first time last year and I like the way I look with glasses so I have no real inclination to switch to contacts. O: (That said, the moment I can get sweet bionic robot eyes, I'm in.)
  15. Movie/TV recommendations

I'm about halfway into Season 6 of Supernatural. End of Season 5 is when the original showrunner left, and is supposed to be when Supernatural stops being good. I'm still liking it a lot! D: Wonder when I'll hit that wall.
  16. Automation: Where did all the jobs go?!

The article mentions that they already have some delivery vehicles with built-in ovens. i have no doubt that delivery robots could end up doing the same - if not at first, then definitely eventually.
  17. PL4YST4TION 4

On the one hand, making my games look better is kinda cool, but on the other, bleh. The second there's an "exclusive" game for the PS4.5, I'll be really annoyed.
  18. Automation: Where did all the jobs go?!

Now I'm imagining the Dominos bots revolting and using pizza with liquid hot cheese as weapons.
  19. The Next President

Yeah it's frustrating to see people say the media treated Bernie fairly when there's plenty of evidence to the contrary. It's also frustrating when people tell me I'm buying into the GOP hate machine when I have legitimate criticisms of Hillary. This is my first time trying to be this involved with politics, and it's really fucking exhausting and, well, frustrating. I hate it.
  20. Automation: Where did all the jobs go?!

Oh that's awesome. I mean, not in the context of this thread, but I still can't help but being excited upon hearing about things like this!
  21. The Nintendo Wii U is Great Thread

It's a wonderful game underneath a very thick layer of hand holding.
  22. Automation: Where did all the jobs go?!

Talks about the AlphaGo matches and what that means for the future. Haven't read the whole thing yet. Might be bunk, but probably not.
  23. The Next President

I've got no butt in this butt-basket, but it's true that there's no graceful way to say "uneducated" or even the less-extreme "under-educated" without it sounding like you're calling someone stupid. Ignorant holds a negative connotation as well, because people often use it in an accusatory tone, like "that person doesn't even try to learn!", even though all it really means is "lacks knowledge".
