  1. Legal rights for dolphins and whales

Well there's not much meat to 'im, is there? And is this drunken man of the heavyset sort, or is he the skinny, stringy kind? Maybe a veteran what's got some muscle that just won't deteriorate no matter how hard he tries? What he's eating makes no difference, really, considering the shit pigs will eat! I uh gave this too much thought didn't I.
  2. Life

I am sitting in a hotel in San Francisco bored out of my goddamned mind, waiting for tomorrow's five-hour interview. I'm not nervous. Yet. That'll happen tomorrow, as I walk to the office. SO BORED.
  3. Steam Summer Sale 2012

    They did.
  4. That was certainly amusing. I like.
  5. Legal rights for dolphins and whales

They certainly think they do (where their ass is located).
  6. Steam Summer Sale 2012

It's only a terrible port in that the mouse+kb controls suck. Play with a controller and it's pretty great! I mean... it has other issues, but they're not big enough that I'd ever say "Don't do it."

The problem is, it's also true. Overpopulation is a real problem to consider. Basically, what Rodi said.
  9. Movie/TV recommendations

I liked it except for the stupid plot twist that literally served absolutely no purpose whatsoever.
  10. Steam Summer Sale 2012

I got my badge so that clearly makes me better than you. I only bought one item. The Binding of Isaac expansion for EIGHTY-FOUR CENTS. I wish I could've bought more, but I just can't justify it with my currently-negative income. ): The only other game I spent any real time considering was Combined Operations so I could play Day Z, but then apparently that's going to come out as a standalone game, so I don't need to get Combined Operations!

You had something more in there! You can't hold it against me when you edit your posts after I respond!! The local thing is probably what really makes it cheap, yeah.
  12. Legal rights for dolphins and whales

The bragging bit was a joke, geez. Like, seriously, you thought that was seriously serious? X: (oh you removed that bit from your post so maybe I guess you caught on (i hate this stupid smiley)) It's surprising that you say organic is cheap. The entire reason I don't buy it is because it's expensive (relatively)! Otherwise, I might be adventurous and see if maybe it tastes better or some other magic bullshit. Or I'd buy it just because yeah I'm not a total asshole and don't mind doing a bit here and there to help the ENVIRON. But I'm poor, so I don't. Health-wise, there is "science" to support both sides, but since I've been eating non-"organic" my entire life to no detriment, I'll continue doing so until someone provides real, legitimate, fool-proof evidence that I'm killing myself by eating rotting worms. And yes, I don't think organic food could support the entire world. Quite the opposite... From what I know, it would be kind of horrible in that regard. We just got too many people.
  13. Oh man that's good, that is.
  14. Legal rights for dolphins and whales

Actually, that's a good point. My bad. I was thinking in terms of health benefits, as that's usually the number one reason people claim to eat organic, in my experience.

It really just means "ooooh we don't use any chemicals or such!" In the case of animals, I can believe it's actually something worth mentioning for some people, as maybe it means they aren't treated poorly and given drugs to make up for it, but in the case of plants, it's pointless and just means you're paying more money to brag.
  16. Uplay

What fixed it for me was literally just turning off cloud-saving, and my old save was still present. I can't guarantee it'll work, but you can try it!
  17. Thirty Flights of Loving

I kind of liked insane rainbow car. ):
  18. Uplay

Uplay's cloud-saving (which is on by default, fair enough IF IT ACTUALLY WORKS) forced me to play the first few hours of Assassin's Creed 2 three times before I figured out what the fuck was going on. |:
  19. Movie/TV recommendations

I kind of lump The Sandlot and The Goonies into the same category. But I've never see the other three of those movies. No, wait, apparently I have seen The 'Burbs. Sounds very familiar. Caught it on TV at some point, I imagine. I'm gonna go ahead and say The Sandlot sort of fits with that, too. U:
  20. I am a fan of them when they actually provide 1) a challenge or 2) motivation to do something weird or out of the ordinary. Progress and grinding cheesemints are literally the worst thing in video games these days. LITERALLY. Okay maybe not actually literally. The fact that they're always completely optional helps me to not be bothered by their existence. Even if I didn't ever want to do any of them, I'd find it difficult to outright hate them! I would also be lying if I said I didn't get some level of enjoyment from that little pop-up. Sometimes it's inappropriate, like in, say, The Walking Dead... U: But at the same time, I like the little bit of levity those ones add to the SERIOUSNESS of whatever just happened.
  21. The Dancing Thumb (aka: music recommendations)

I liked Pomplamoose quite a lot a while ago, but I just kind of got tired of them. I don't really know why! They're pretty good. That video was fun to watch!
  22. Legal rights for dolphins and whales

Well, there's also quote-unquote murder in the sense of war. Not to mention some of the darker stuff in our past.
  23. Legal rights for dolphins and whales

It's fiiiiiiine. U: I have no problem with dropping it. I hate taking over a topic like this more than other people hate me doing it, I think. If you wanted to continue, this kind of thing is generally better in private, anyway, since it's probably annoying for everyone else!
