Only time I've ever really felt super sick oh man I have to quit now was the first time I played HL2 and got to the airboat section. It was weird for me. Cryostasis was one of those games that got to me after a while, though. I couldn't play for more than an hour or two at a time. But HL2 airboat? INSTANTLY FLOORED. Weirdly, I don't think I felt sick at all last time I played through it. Granted, since then, I've learned about things like field of view and how that affects my motion sickness.

Looking at it from the other side: it would suck to be the site following protocol and then get pooped on by someone else breaking the embargo and posting their shit early. Once that happens, the sites following protocol are going to get a lot less traffic from whatever review or story they post. Whatever the reasons for which these rules exist now, I'd bet that, in the beginning, they existed for the benefit of both PR and the enthusiast press.

It's hard. Very hard. Not because it's deep or there's a lot to learn - just because it's so fucking random. It's somewhat charming in its simplicity, but I've never felt like my own personal skill actually helped me in the game.

I just did this, so I'm actually not completely ignorant, for once! If you want an i7, it looks like you're gonna need a new motherboard. Yours doesn't have the socket type you need. Basically: pick your motherboard last, fit to your needs. Make sure it all fits. You're probably safe no matter what, video card wise, as PCI tends to be much more backwards compatible than almost every other port type, but RAM and CPU caused trouble for me. In terms of hard drives and whatnot, as long as you don't have any IDE devices, you're good. Otherwise, prepare to lose them. Newer motherboards tend not to have any slots! I have no idea if that helped! U:

It's definitely a big buff, but he's probably still not gonna be any good. We'll see. Those are my two favorite changes! Captain's Mode and Lycan nerf. Introversion games always tend to be a little weird like that. Defcon, in particular, could be pretty unsettling at times, what with the casualties resulting from nuclear war and the entirely cold way of presenting that data. I haven't played this game, YET, but it doesn't really sound at all offensive so whatever. I want it. Give it to me. When I have time, anyway.

That doesn't make it shitty. If we're going to start calling out situational items for being shitty, are we then going to do the same for heroes? The vast majority of the heroes in Dota are situational. It's why you tend to see basically the same small pool of heroes in comp play. That doesn't make the heroes that aren't picked shitty. Same goes for S&Y.

Nope. You're still wrong. Sange & Yasha is one of those situational items. For example, having trouble as Riki? Go Sange & Yasha. Bigger health boost than Manta Style, cheaper parts than that fucking Ultimate Orb (which is a bitch to buy if you're having trouble in fights or keep getting ganked), and you still get a nice boost to damage. Not to mention it amplifies your ability to chase because you get slightly more movement speed AND a chance to maim.

I received literally no responses for like half a year. Then, out of nowhere, I got a whole bunch at once, including actual, "Yeah let's hear more from you". And then none of those went anywhere and it all died for a few months. And then finally I was contacted by a company I didn't even know existed, went through the entire process, and am now working there. And it's been pretty awesome, these first couple months at my first real job. Pretty awesome. U:
