Okay that's more fair. I won't go into any depth with this argument 'cause I don't think that's really the point of this thread. I just had a reactionary REACTION there.

Whoa whoa whoa. I'm all for permadeath, but let's not go pretending a story has to give you some kind of insight for it to be worth experiencing. I'll watch the shit out of the new Superman movie and enjoy it and not get anything worthwhile other than that enjoyment.

Oh you can actually craft a foil badge? haha what

You could make the font size bigger, and even red, I think!

Yeah I've heard about Ingress and that's a good idea! Re: "once you learn": It's been 10 years since I rode a bike for more than fifteen seconds. I picked it up again pretty quick. I was a bit surprised at myself, to be honest. Still not really comfortable enough to ride on streets, if I can avoid it, but I did all right (except for dying from exhaustion).

While that is disgusting, I think this is pretty interesting. http://tinycartridge.com/post/53194201527/you-had-a-50-50-chance-you-werent-even I agree that Nintendo missed a good opportunity, but at the same time, as he admits, they did pick the female Wii Fit Trainer! That's a pretty great choice, I think. They could've done better, for sure, but hey!

I bought a bike yesterday! Between where I live and the place I want to bike to (and from) on a daily basis is a length of three miles. One mile to the bike shop. I made it there fine on foot. Walking is not an issue. I tested out some bikes, bought the bike I wanted, and tried to bike the rest of the way to the BART station I wanted to get to. I didn't make it all the way. Probably about a mile and a half on bike. Pushed it the last half a mile (until I got to the top of a hill near the station, at which point I coasted down). Holy moly I'm out of shape! I went into town, did Escape from the Magic Show (it was awesome, but we failed, because we suck - and another reason that'll just make it sound like I'm bitter (BECAUSE I AM)). Took train back to station. Grabbed bike. Had headache, took Caltrain home. YEARGH. Fell asleep at like 6pm, literally, and woke up at 6am. Probably the best night's sleep I've had in a long while. Weird how doing physical activity does that for you... So I decided not to bike to the station this morning, but when I get back tonight, I'll just ride it around my neighborhood until I'm exhausted, and keep doing that every night until I'm confident I can make it to the station. I'm excited to reach the point where I'm NOT a lazy shit anymore! Also my ass hurts. Ow.

Last night I dreamt that I somehow found myself at a house party hosted by a guy I used to know on the internet (he runs a forum I used to frequent). By the time I got there, the party was dying down, and people were leaving. I stuck around because why not. At one point I found myself staring at a wall and seeing flashes of names of people I knew on the internet, except slightly wrong. Like instead of "Zeusthecat", I would've seen "Catthezeus". I don't actually remember any of the names except one (and it wasn't Zeus SRY ZEUS). I remember thinking, "Wow, my daydreams are getting pretty vivid." It was weird. I walked upstairs and there was a cute girl there alone and I said, "are these drinks free for everyone" pointing at a pile of alcohol, and she said, "well, you were supposed to bring a bottle" and I said "oh" and grabbed a bottle of spiced rum to drink from. Then she fell asleep on the couch and Some kind of time skip and It ended with me, the girl, and a couple other people including the host strolling down some street, and the host complaining very loudly like "NOOO THE ALCOHOL" every time we'd take a swig from our respective bottles. All in all a boring dream, but I'm excited because I actually remembered it!

Yeah, that's a fair point, I suppose. Guess I'm just disappointed 'cause I think it's a neat idea, but it's so incredibly flawed at this point that it's just kinda lame.

I guess I'll finally do this. U: 3926-5126-4107 All I have for now is Animal Crossing, but if they ever give me back the games from my other stolen 3DS, I'll also have Luigi's Mansion, which is sorta fun.

They're usually pretty quick about patching/updating things.

Huh. I just finished it and thought it was great. I had no gripes, other than the weird-ass movement physics of tiny himself. (Sometimes he wouldn't move straight forward in the direction of the camera. Caused quite a few deaths.)

Dishonored has more of a combat slant if you let it. U: You can definitely play that game avoiding most combat. Until the typical Shitty Last Level where everything blows up all at once. Unfortunately.

Grrr I got my development permit and she won't let me DEVELOP because the bug-off is today. Which I'm pretty sure I'm guaranteed to win with my sick OAK SILK MOTH. ):

A month later and they haven't really changed much so I guess my faith in Valve to improve flawed things over time has been SHOT. DOWN. Oh well.

I ended up not giving up Mystery Incorporated thanks to YOU tegan! It's kind of amazing. There are so many references. Man. Also, Fred is genuinely hilarious. Almost everything he does makes me laugh, which is kind of great, 'cause he was always the most straightforward of the characters in the original run! Man, I'm so glad I kept going. I'm almost done with the series now. Oh god. I watched that movie so many times when I was a kid. I think maybe barring the reference, this is my favorite.

The puzzles were okay for me, but where Monkey Island (1 and 2) get really annoying for me is the shitty world map traveling. It takes so long to get from point A to point B, and when you're stuck, even if the puzzle's not really that hard, you have all the options in the world to choose from... I gave up and used a guide on most of it when I played those games recently because I didn't want to waste my time traveling across the world. U: I am not ashamed. That was bad design.
-
Yeah you make a good point. But games scaling well on PC just means you can run it at lower settings than found on consoles, and not so much that you're guaranteed to get better performance at the same settings. U:

Hah, that's grand.
-
Okay I was wrong. Whatever, still prefer unanimous. U:

NOPE I BROUGHT IT UP FIRST AND SAID PRETTY MUCH THAT! Though I'd prefer a unanimous vote being required, as opposed to League's 3/5.
