...Yeah I'm with you Bjorn, I did not think of Destiny as that kind of game. I'm slightly more interested now. But also it's still a console FPS.

Aliens! The enemies are aliens. Also, they're showing it on their Twitch stream right now: http://www.twitch.tv/nintendo Let's see how it looks in motion, compressed and sent over the internet to my computer monitor! ... Interesting, it's still got grid-based movement and attacks. Did Valkyria Chronicles work that way, or was it just full freedom? Stream got boring fast, but whatever. Game looks marginally less ugly in motion. I'm still not a fan of it. C'est la vie. Can't like everything!

Surprised and impressed there's not a single negative comment. Maybe it just hasn't hit the rounds yet. Or they're deleting the comments.

I think the gameplay sounds super rad for what it's worth. But I still think it's repulsive, graphically. I am of course withholding full REAL judgment for when the game is released. I'm not stupid enough to believe that's final or that it's not possible for it to look better in motion. But I sure ain't optimistic.

So now we've got Mii Fighters, Palutena, Pac-Man and Mr. Game & Watch. Although I just noticed they didn't add G&W to the website? That's weird. Is he not actually confirmed as a fighter? That'd super suck guys! Super! He also wasn't given the "Mr. Game & Watch [silly phrase]!" treatment, as all other challengers have been. So, we're now at 32(+1?), which puts us just three short of Brawl's count. That's 5(-1?) short of Brawl's count. Unless Sakurai's changed his stance, there won't be as many characters in this game as Brawl. There are 7(-1?) characters left that plenty of people would probably expect, but having them all would put us OVER the count. Now I'm worried some of those I mention in that quote wont' make it. I love all those so much. ): I'm more and more convinced G&W might not be coming back. EDIT: Whoever edited the Wikipedia article agrees with me that there is a distressing lack of evidence supporting G&W's return. D: D: D: Also I still have no idea what those pixel levels are in the Pac-Man trailer! (EDIT: Well, I guess Brawl had two extra characters in the form of transformations, for a total of 39, but that still doesn't leave much room.)

You're probably right, but usually I can at least picture in my head how something might look a little better in motion. I kind of hate everything about those screenshots. Even the bottom screen UI. I just really really dislike it.

I can't speak to the authenticity of it, but something at that level is absolutely achievable on today's tech. So are all of those. That aside, it's still pretty and probably indicative of the look and feel, which is all I was really praising, so I'm not sure what you're getting at.

That's a really pretty screenshot, goddamn. Whatever else happens, Far Cry 4 wins the "most colorful FPS Twig has personally seen in recent years" award. Go me! Go FC4!

Oh man minimum password size I haven't encountered that in so long I forgot how much it makes me rage. ARGH. PASSWORDS.

What really annoys me about origin password resets (which I've probably used at least three or four times) is their arbitrary complexity requirements for passwords. SPELLING OUT SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PASSWORD ACTUALLY MAKES IT LESS SECURE. My password is already over 20 characters long, I don't need you to force me to make it "more" secure.

I think the original Polygon article had better justification than this new bit of nonsense PR speak. "We don't have time" is reasonable justification to anyone who knows that Ubisoft CORPORATE is probably pressing them to get it released ASAP, and Ubisoft DEVELOPER potentially actually does want to include female characters. This new excuse is "Well there are four Arnos running around, get over it." Laughable.

I've got a few things on my wishlist. So this'll be nice if I can get those, who cares if I can't sorta deal. Still have a backlog in the hundreds. Plus I just started Dark Souls (1) myself...

What are those 2D pixel levels in that trailer? Also Pac-Man looks super fun. PERFECT.
