One Punch Man is really great. I'm also reading Assassination Classroom and One Piece and Knights of Sidonia and And Yet the Town Moves (Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru). The last one is definitely the best one. However, my Chrome extension which let me know when recent scanlations were put up for each of those (except the last which I read on Crunchyroll) broke and uninstalled itself? I haven't looked into fixing it. I guess I'll do that now.

Hah, I had a German friend at DigiPen who had no problem talking about how fat Americans were even as he sat right next to the fattest man I've ever personally met (he is obscenely overweight, like at least 350 pounds and probably about six feet). I read very few comics, whereas I read an egregiously large number of webcomics. Mostly because they're free, of course. They're also delivered in a very different format (generally one page at a time), as opposed to regular ol' comics' being full issues, etc. I guess what I'm saying is that I think the distinction is worth keeping in mind. That said, I don't really care about separating all the comic types into different threads. I was just saying that 'cause I'd made a post in the actual Webcomics thread less than half a day prior.

But as the meta shifts, it'll happen all on its own. Every patch brings in a new flavor of the month, even if it's only because of a "hey remember this hero exists" buff to level one attack damage on Phantom Lancer, or whatever. But that's sort of aside from what I was getting at. I think the strategies NewBee and ViCi employed are awesome. I just found this particular series rather boring to watch. It was a stomp.

Puck plays are flashy and fun to watch but don't really mean a good game. I'm not saying it wasn't a good game, but. It was one game of NewBee losing to warm up and then three games of NewBee stomping all over ViCi Gaming. Pretty one-sided and boring.

I think the song is great and I don't think it's fair to be angry at Weird Al for making a song mocking the degradation of language. He's not making fun of dyslexics. He's making fun of people who type "u r 2 kewl" legitimately. Though when I first heard the spastic line I knew that'd be a problem for some people, since that's apparently an offensive word in England, but in America it's not even remotely.

I'm mad though and I think Yasawas should be banned for hating a game I loved.

tegan I saw that recently too and was similarly mindblown. How is that even still a thing? Bob is an insane human being. I really want to play bob's game. I am completely serious about that. I'm convinced it will be a complete trainwreck if it is ever actually released, but also it's pretty fucking fascinating.

Most of the choices you can make in Dark Souls aren't needed either. (Can't speak to the other games, but I can only assume they're similar.) You can go the whole game only playing with a sword and board and never touching magic or going two handed or even learning how to backstab or or or. But, of course, your experience can be made better for exploring these different options and finding what's best for you. Transistor's similar, at least in that capacity! You don't have to use everything, but the joy is in experimenting with different combinations. Merus brings up one of the better examples. A lot of people swear by the dash, but you can definitely get by without it. I mixed up my skills a lot as I played through the game twice. Like a lot a lot. Every couple save points I would swap things around. I'M GONNA NEED FURTHER CLARIFICATION ON WHAT YOU MEAN. PRONTO.
