I bought the first Ace Attorney game, fully intending to play all of them one by one, and never even bothered to finish the last case. I felt like I was forcing myself to play the game. The writing was average at best, and the gameplay was incredibly dull. ):

He got bashed on his face for like thirty seconds right where his eye is. It ain't comin' back. How you can think it has any chance of still working is beyond me. In fact, if it does come back, it's only because Kenny's developed some sort of supernatural self-healing powers. He is the anti-zombie. Explains how he survived the end of season one, I suppose. Yeah, it all makes sense now.

Why do you assume that because they didn't show every single person needing the medicine using it that they didn't use it off screen? It's pretty common in story-telling of all varieties to leave out the unimportant details like that because it's obvious what they're going to do.

yes mushishiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Baccano and Durarara!! are both great. A lot of people tend to like the latter less than the former - including me! - but I still liked both of them a lot. I downloaded the first episode of Barakamon and as expected it is perfect. I'm looking forward to continuing to watch it.

Nah you get to continue, but you get dropped to about 1/3 of your health on your currently selected character. So if you have a monster and are playing as the monster when you enter, you lose health on it. If you don't have a monster, obviously you lose health on your main dude/lady/whatever. It sucks to lose those even if you don't want the monster because if you WIN and you don't want it you still fully heal. So good. Anyway, after I cried like a baby in my last post, I proceeded to stomp through on Nightmare mode and killed the Warlock! I think I've decided two things: 1) Pincoya is my favorite Hero, and 2) THE MERCHANT IS SO GREAT OH MAN. Fuck Verbum Dei! Fuck Paganini! Fuck the Peacock Warrior! Play as the Merchant and win. Still curious as to how the Warlock plays, though. Also, switching characters kills your saved items, I'm pretty sure.

Jesus fucking Christ this game is fucking impossible on Nightmare difficulty. HEY LET'S THROW IN AN EXTRA ENEMY TO HELP THE WARLOCK AND THEN THEY JUST JUGGLE YOU UNTIL YOU'RE DEAD. FUCKING FUN. Getting to him is hard but not too hard. Trying to beat him is making me want to give up on the game forever. I also have yet to beat a single dream level on Nightmare. The enemies are way harder.

You have to be at least level 40 to capture Verbum Dei. I think 30 to capture Paginini? 70 to capture the Warlock!!

I don't think that image does it justice. The lighting is too harsh or something? I don't know. It didn't do it for me. This is the one that convinced me it looks like a ball of flesh and then I vomited on my keyboard. I'm typing through that vomit.

Yo I captured Verbum Dei and Paganini. Paganini kinda sucks but Verbum Dei pukes a sword so he's rad. And he has five crowns. too bad he's so expensive and I can't afford him when I start fresh. I wish gold was a bit easier to get. I tried playing nightmare mode. It's a nightmare.
